Title: Size mod isn't working Post by: Weyard on July 06, 2011, 06:11:16 PM I had a thread up earlier in which someone told me that I can edit height by editing the "scale" of the topN bone (after renaming it TopNull).
I tried this, as you can see here: (http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/7517/boneedit1.png) When previewed, you can see that his proportions have been altered. (http://img803.imageshack.us/img803/8148/boneedit2.png) However, in-game he is back at his default proportions: (http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/4154/al1107061952binout.jpg) This was supposed to have been a one slot mod. I brought up an alt costumed Cap Falcon in-game and they are the same height. Pico should have been significantly shorter now. Did I miss a step or do something wrong? Title: Re: Size mod isn't working Post by: Segtendo on July 06, 2011, 06:38:30 PM Try the YRotN bone. In dingo's one-slot size mod tutorial, he says that bone's preferred.
Also, FUUUUUU yea, Pico son. Title: Re: Size mod isn't working Post by: Weyard on July 06, 2011, 06:50:48 PM Try the YRotN bone. Yes.Title: Re: Size mod isn't working Post by: Guamboy27 on July 06, 2011, 06:53:33 PM You need to resize the new bone in every animation of his FitMotion.pac. You can do this faster using the BrawlMod 0.64 beta.

Yeah, if you notice, when you download a size mod it comes with a MotionEtc.pac. Brawl doesn't read the scale, rotation, or translation from the FitCharachter.pac but rather from the MotionEtc.pac. Actually, I'm curious why it doesn't look wierd when it's edited outside of the animation... Also, tip: Title: Re: Size mod isn't working Post by: Weyard on July 06, 2011, 07:17:19 PM A lot more complicated than I thought it would be. I'll put up a request for someone else to do it in my thread I guess.
Thanks. |
