Size mod isn't working

I had a thread up earlier in which someone told me that I can edit height by editing the "scale" of the topN bone (after renaming it TopNull).

I tried this, as you can see here:

When previewed, you can see that his proportions have been altered.

However, in-game he is back at his default proportions:

This was supposed to have been a one slot mod.  I brought up an alt costumed Cap Falcon in-game and they are the same height. Pico should have been significantly shorter now.

Did I miss a step or do something wrong?

Try the YRotN bone. In dingo's one-slot size mod tutorial, he says that bone's preferred.
Also, FUUUUUU yea, Pico son.

Yes.

You need to resize the new bone in every animation of his FitMotion.pac. You can do this faster using the BrawlMod 0.64 beta.

Oh by the way you need to edit every animation. ^_^"

Yeah, if you notice, when you download a size mod it comes with a MotionEtc.pac. Brawl doesn't read the scale, rotation, or translation from the FitCharachter.pac but rather from the MotionEtc.pac. Actually, I'm curious why it doesn't look wierd when it's edited outside of the animation...
Also, tip:
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

YRotN is preffered, but it causes this so make sure to edit the TransY of the bone, too!

A lot more complicated than I thought it would be. I'll put up a request for someone else to do it in my thread I guess.

Thanks.
