Title: Super Sonic: Nothing fancy

Yo :P. I'll be the first to admit my skills with PSA are subpar compared to most others but I am proud of what I managed to do thus far with my project Super Sonic. So let's open up with a nice intro Snap shot---

So far there is nothing very impressive. For starters his neutral A combo is the same except for the 3rd hit is replaced with his D-tilt which hits up and pulls in if you hit with the tip of his shoe. Otherwise it hits up and positions you for a follow up.

Oh yeah...he hovers now =D
(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa97/Ryo_15/SuperSonicidle.jpg)
and flies forward
(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa97/Ryo_15/SuperSonicapproach.jpg)

U-smash has been changed to u-tilt animation and hitboxes only stronger. It's much easier to follow up and deals good damage.

F-tilt has been changed to a mid range light wave attack. Props to perfectedidiot2 of ESH. I stole the move from his Dark Sonic's third 'A' combo hit and gave it a different graphic. Also while we're giving him props all dodge effects were based off Dark Sonic as well. His Up B I had working before Dark Sonic was released but I tweaked it accordingly.

Now then onto what I added: Sonic is lighter (like fox light I believe), a smidge slower on the ground, and may feel a bit sluggish at first but in exchange
(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa97/Ryo_15/al_091006_1649-1.jpg)
Super Sonic is master of the skies. He has been slowed down on the ground and most of his tweaked ground attacks send his opponent towards his favored element.

Nair: Newest change to Super sonic. Sonic rolls into a ball covered with his signature blue aura and spins rapidly for a multihit/sex kick like attack. You can control his movement as if you were falling normally. Its a great move for combos.

Dair: Most noticeably has a ganon-esque spike in the beginning of it but much more useful...it cancels...with anything. It's a bit broken atm but it makes for great mind games and off stage kills(and recoveries)

Fair: Currently the same because it fits. May tweak it to flow a bit better but it really is fine as is

Bair: 4 words: It has the KNEE. Not as epic as the original but it works since bair is still his kill move along with dair now.

Uair: I took the damage down and gave it upward movement. Momentum effects how high you rise but use it to start a combo, keep combos going, maneuver in the air. It's the go to move(or atleast i'd like it to be). Use dair, uair, your greater air maneuverability, and slowed falling speed to glide and maneuver about the skies as well as avoid damage. Also now has a lightning sweetspot.

Specials are untouched aside from Up-B teleporting. LIEZ
(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa97/Ryo_15/al_091010_0042-1.jpg)
Neutral B(the only change for now): Sonic Wind- Sonic forces out a fraction of energy to create a small multi hitting vortex that hits the opponent up slightly.

Side B: Super Dash!
Super Sonic becomes temporarily invincible and dashes forward(distance does slightly depend on control stick tilt). On contact with the opponent he deals 7% damage and has a nice knockback. Its incomplete as is but its good enough for testing. Im trying to find a way to limit its use in the air to one time until landing. Play with it a bit and gimme feed back. (it reflects projectiles by the way.

Also an added bonus
(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa97/Ryo_15/al_091010_00501-1.jpg)
IT REFLECTS(not for the entire animation)

Also when facing right and doing his iconic "You're too slow" taunt...time slows down. Up taunt in any direction makes it stop though =)

Im aware of how average or subpar it is but critiques are still welcome =\. He's just a for fun char anyhow

Oh and attribute chnges. Light gravity and his short hop was shortened so heres what he jumps like now
Short hop
(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa97/Ryo_15/al_091007_11191-1-1.jpg)

Full jump
(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa97/Ryo_15/al_091007_1118-1.jpg)

Double Jump
(http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa97/Ryo_15/al_091007_1119-1.jpg)

Depending on your upward momentum and timing uair can increase your jump height, stall your descent or nothing at all (if your going down fast enough)

That's pretty good for your so called "subpar." I'll be expecting great things from you in the future.

Thank you all for your feed back. I don't think its really super but I do plan to get better.

Updated with texture DL and tweaked SuperSonic.pac

Up taunt should be safe to use.

Your side-B has a problem: doing a side-B at the edge of a platform traps sonic in a spinning animation if you hold B and he can't get out unless you drift sideways into the blastzone (or get hit/grabbed)

This is what I'm waiting for.
A real Super Sonic.
Thank you.
I'll test it and perhaps leave it on my SD-Card.

I tested it now a bit.
Here my feedback:
This is wht I was waiting for so long. A real super Sonic.
Don't make him really weaker. His attacks are good.
Why is this slow down effect only if facing right? I don't like this. Make if D-Pad pressed right but not if facing right.
The side B needs not to get limited. Super Sonic can fly. Perhaps you make no hitboxes in air but flying.
There is one problem which you can fix easily. If you escape in air Sonic is invinsble. If he now lands while being invisible he stays invisible until he escapes again or does Up B. If this is not intended put the getting visible code in Landing(don't know the exact expression now) Run and Wait.
How did you make this slow down time stopp?
Is it possible to make it this way:
If you put the D-Pad right he does as usual.
If you put the D-Pad left he does not make them so slow. About half of what it's now. Just for fun, if you ask why I want this.
It is definitly my favourite Sonic hack becaues it's a serious and fun character in one. The time stop is the fun element but because of this being a tount it is not a "normal" attack you often use. The other attacks are quite fair and nice to play.

If you need any help send me a PM or ask it here. If you want I can support you a little.
I'm verry interested in this Super Sonic and will help you with everything I can.

http://www.mediafire.com/?4zlztkd3mnw  some visiblity fixes are in this pac.  (also fixed Side B ledge issue though the aerial version acts strange)

First of all thank you for giving me thorough feed back it is greatly appreciated! =D
Now then the issue I've recently come upon is the size of my current sonic.pac has a limit. I've figured that out through trial and error. The limit is roughly 460 kb and im at 457. It may be an issue in the pac file I started the project on since ive heard from others they have much larger PSA file sizes. not to mention sometimes the psa tool will just add size to a file randomly (I even tested it by opening and saving a file without doing anything and it would still be bigger for no reason =\)

Either way I can't add new commands so adjustments are already difficult. To be honest the taunt effects were done early on and I still have no knowledge on how the time control mechanics of PSA work (literallly put random variables in to see what worked). If someone could find me a new normal sonic pac I could try to transfer changes to it and hopefully that could solve the size issue (Wave Kusanagi says he's gotten sizes past 500 that still worked but I havent seen him around).

On a lighter note I'm glad you like the attacks and your idea for side B in the air being more of a positioning tool is great! Believe me if I have further issues i'll ask you for help i've seen your psa work and it's incredible

I'll try him out now.
I can conclud this about time manipulation:
If you take scalar the first parameter is how slow your opponents are.
If you take nvalue the first parameter is how long the time stop lasts.
Scalar=Slow down
Value= time stop

If anyone can correct me or add something, please do so.

Looks better than the other one. If I didn't have my own Sonic moveset I'm working on I'd so grab it.

Lack of updates do to technical and life difficulties but hapy Thanksgiving to all just the same =)

I feel sadness.

Still, pretty cool stuff. Might look into it later.

Did someone call for me? o_o

Hey Sylvo, if you're using PSA 1.3, DON'T. Go back to 0.2.1. We found out 1.3 has a huge bug with corrupting the PSAs and making them too big.

Also...Why doesn't his Forward B go...forward in the air? o_o

Awesome stuff.  I assume you used Hyper Sonic as a base?  This does seem quite similar to Hyper Sonic (but more balanced which makes sense).  Too bad there are so many other Sonic PSAs out there.  It's hard to choose!!
