Title: Issues with the whole model-swapping pocess Post by: System on December 26, 2011, 09:10:11 PM Alright, I'm having two little problems trying to port a model over Samus.
First off, when I try to preview a model in BrawlBox, I get this: (http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/7926/erroreqw.png) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/545/erroreqw.png/) It's not just Samus. Every model I view I see that. I'm unsure of why. Second, I am apparently supposed to export the models of character as .dae. However, I can only save it as a .mld0 file. How do I save as a .dae Man, I have this bad feeling I'll be scolded for asking a stupid question =/ Title: Re: Issues with the whole model-swapping pocess Post by: Sirkura on December 26, 2011, 10:27:07 PM hard to see with the screen u took but looks like ur model lacks its textures seeing its all white. there is a way to create texture data with the new brawl box i'd have t play with it a bit to tell u how. srri if i missed something. :S
next u export as a dae to edit the model in 3dsmax but brawl only reads mdl0 files so when u save it should convert it for u when u import it. Title: Re: Issues with the whole model-swapping pocess Post by: System on December 27, 2011, 06:45:22 AM Did you zoom out? This IS zoomed out ._.hard to see with the screen u took but looks like ur model lacks its textures seeing its all white. there is a way to create texture data with the new brawl box i'd have t play with it a bit to tell u how. srri if i missed something. :S But the problem is that I can't export as .dae at all, only .mld0, which can't be used by 3DS max.next u export as a dae to edit the model in 3dsmax but brawl only reads mdl0 files so when u save it should convert it for u when u import it. And this is Samus's model, so naturally all textures are there. Well as I just said, I'm viewing Samus's in-game model, so it should display like Samus does in-game, right?Title: Re: Issues with the whole model-swapping pocess Post by: Tempo_ on December 27, 2011, 05:19:49 PM Well, as great as BrawlBox is, it doesn't automatically show you how the character would look like in-game.

I AM zoomed out, and I am reading Samus's IN-GAME MODEL, and it bears no resemblance to Samus whatsoever. u r using brawl box .65 right? >.> only the new one exports as dae THANK YOU for answering the more important problem. I was, oddly enough, using 6.3 -_- Now, because Brawlbox loves me so much, it gives me a new error: (http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/3009/error2vc.png) (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/249/error2vc.png/) And no, I don't know what that means, and no, it's not the model. |
