Title: A bunch of codes not working Post by: DraconisMarch on April 18, 2013, 11:43:40 AM I have a bunch of codes I've tried adding to my game that won't work for some reason. The only ones that WILL work are the ones that were included by default with the Ocarina Code Manager download:
Here are all the codes I'm trying to also use that won't work for whatever reason: Why is the first set working but the other ones won't? (I'm using Gecko 1.9.3.1 if that helps.) Title: Re: A bunch of codes not working Post by: Shinobu Nyan! on April 18, 2013, 12:35:04 PM Make sure that its the right region id when using codes. NTSC-U and PAL along with NTSC-J can only use codes with the corresponding id. North America uses NTSC-U while Europe uses PAL.

I don't think Phantom Wings' codes were for anywhere but NTSC-U...Put this textfile (http://www.mediafire.com/?to285091naavl8w) in the root of your SD card. What does this do?Title: Re: A bunch of codes not working Post by: GentlemanPotato on April 18, 2013, 04:14:56 PM Allows Gecko OS to load more codes as it has a 255 line limit unless you have this file.

Wrong, it was ported for other regions. Phantom wings didnt make the pause camera code ethier. The text file releases the number of lines of code cap in gecko os, and it looks like that also may be the issue. Ill cross check the codes with the regions. What does this do? Wiis have region codes so all codes have regions including the FPC. The file only has those codes I listed in the OP. The file only has 202 lines total.Wrong, it was ported for other regions. Phantom wings didnt make the pause camera code ethier. How do you check to see if these codes are for other regions?Wiis have region codes so all codes have regions including the FPC. I just find it weird that only the original codes in the file work when ported to the gct file and not a single one of the ones I tried to add. Title: Re: A bunch of codes not working Post by: GentlemanPotato on April 19, 2013, 03:20:50 AM Just put the textfile in the root of your SD card and it'll work. It lets Gecko OS loads more codes than usual.

Make sure you do it or it won't work.
