Title: How easy is it to take a totally custom/PSAed character and put it over another? Post by: Favio on June 15, 2013, 09:34:07 PM Some of the best files on this site are totally custom characters that just take the places of some characters. One of my favorites is Project Mewtwo (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=55338.0 (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=55338.0)), but it overwrites one of my favorite characters, Lucario.
There are older versions of the hack ported to other characters, but I was looking to learn to do it myself. If anyone knows how to do this or can point me in the right direction, that'd be great! Essentially, he made it so you could port Lucario and a select few other characters over anyone. Title: Re: How easy is it to take a totally custom/PSAed character and put it over another? EDIT: I'm realizing this isn't a tutorial anyway, but I've found it... Thanks again though! or port it the non .rel method so you can use like if like porting over Mario the non .rel method you can use Mario´s Filesize,GFX,Article(fireball/pipp entry/Fludd/FS) Can you elaborate on that? Title: Re: How easy is it to take a totally custom/PSAed character and put it over another? Post by: Large Leader on June 16, 2013, 10:33:34 AM What he means is essentially copying all that's inside Mario's FitMario.Pac and copying it over to whichever character you want.
So in your case, you'd copy everything inside of FitLucario.pac (the one for Mewtwo) and copy it over someone elses FitCharacter.Pac. The only problem aside from being time consuming is that you have to make sure that you don't copy over the external graphics. It essentially does the same thing.
