Title: Eye FAIL Post by: JBG on March 27, 2010, 01:33:43 PM Hey guys, yes I'm back, but in a rather bad spot. You see, I've been working on my textures every now and then--and all of a sudden, when I try to replace Zelda's eyes with BrawlBox like I usually do--something goes screwy. :>.>:
Here's what it looks like (http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/2514/eyefail3.th.jpg) (no this is not a final smash eye) (http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/8285/eyefail.th.jpg) If soomeone could tell me what might be going wrong, that would be nice. I haven't touched the settings or anything, by the way. Title: Re: Eye FAIL Post by: LookItsLink on March 27, 2010, 04:28:03 PM Are you formatting them correctly when you insert in BrawlBox? CI8 is usually the format used for eyes.

Zelda's eye iris is a CI8 texture with an RGB5A3 palette, while her Final Smash eye is a CMPR texture. Title: Re: Eye FAIL Post by: JBG on March 28, 2010, 10:01:26 AM ok, well THAT didn't help...
Anybody else have any good ideas? Title: Re: Eye FAIL Post by: Protoman.EXE on March 28, 2010, 10:59:39 AM When replacing the texture try changing the format to CMPR. then when youve replaced it, change it back to CI8
Title: Re: Eye FAIL Post by: JBG on March 28, 2010, 07:10:47 PM The only problem with that is that then there's no palette, which willl crash the game, won't it?
Title: Re: Eye FAIL Post by: JBG on March 28, 2010, 07:50:29 PM Well, it didn't crash the game, it only makes the eyes copy anything that has a pallete on one of the other players.
weird stuff maynard. |
