Title: Smash Wii U Link In Brawl Post by: ManikDX on December 12, 2015, 06:36:22 AM Hey team. So I'm really new to the whole concept of Importing models into brawl and I honestly don't think I'll ever fully understand how to do it. So is possible If I can talk to someone here and help me import the model? I have the model all set up for it to be imported as well as have some textures for it.

Because I have a mini-tutorial here(Until my extremely thorough tutorial that even inexperienced Blender users can grasp is complete), and I'm available for any questions that you may have.

I do have blender, never tried to work on it yet but I can try. Title: Re: Smash Wii U Link In Brawl Post by: KingJigglypuff on December 12, 2015, 07:30:46 PM For Smash Wii U models, you have to get 3DS Max, as there's a plugin for it that imports Smash Wii U models.

After that, you'll have to rig it (tl;dr: Weight vertices to bones via skin modifier). Once you're done rigging, export as dae, then import into BB. Take note of the Facepoint count. Make sure it's less than 17k. These are just the basics. Look up tutorials for further information and ask for help with further assistance. Whenever I try to rig, It doesn't work, I read a tutorial on here but it still confused the heck out of me. Post Merge: December 13, 2015, 02:53:46 AM I'm sorry for the double post guys, But I sti don't understand what I'm doing on this. Importing is hard.
