I've been trying to swap models (for lulz), and it keep crashing the game and i think im doing it wrong, can someone tell me how to do it right?  ;)

I downloaded a stage but it replaces FD and I already have a stage on it that I really like. The stage came with a rel file to replace another stage but it replaces another stage that already has a downloaded stage. Where can I get rel files for FD to replace other stages?  :-\
