I'm having this same exact problem with my common3 and my mu_menu_main, and sometimes common5, usually just within the selmap though. I hope this gets resolved soon. :v

I don't see XF Commands, just XF TexGen Flags.

Your kinda vague on which Brawlbox works or not since you only use "new" or "old" to describe them. I can't figure out which version I can put the .brres in or not. I watched the video tutorials too, but nothing.
I'm importing the .brres using Brawlbox v0.65 and I viewed the model in brawlbox afterwards, but it doesn't show up.

I think it's posible, because the first .brsar I ever downloaded was already changed for some reason, one of the changes being some characters had their Japanese voices. (Pit, Ike, Wolf, Fox, etc.) So I'm sure it's possible. As for converting it, not sure. I only recently got into adding SFX hacks myself. Also I'm pretty sure GeckoOS won't load SFX hacks, unless there's some update I don't know of. You'll need to convert from GeckoOS to Riivolution. Well, if it helps, I've already created a decent Hell stage using Wii textures and a stage builder. It actually came out quite well. I'll grab a pic later.
