1  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Riivo Freezing on: September 19, 2011, 06:54:54 PM
No, I know for sure I have it off. I managed to get the game to start loading, but it froze on the black screen that says "now loading" in the corner. I had the "common5.pac" file named as "common5_en.pac" and taking of the "_en" let me actually load the game and play it. Unfortunately, none of my hacks are working! Exactly which kinds of files have to have the "_en" after them? All .pac and.pcs or what?

I'm new to this, and I just learned I need Riivolution for my 4gb SD card. I made the switch from gecko easily enough, but my only problem is, Riivo freezes whenever I click 'load'! It worked fine before I added the codes, but now it doesn't. Can anyone help who may have some experience with this?

Well... I think they would work if Riivo wou'ldn't crash every time I click 'load'.

And honestly, for the problems I've been having, I've not been finding anything in tutorials.

idk... most of them I downloaded from links, and 1 of them was copy/pasted from a textbox here and saved as xml... but the freezing still happens when I turn that code off.

ok. i've got Riivo working, and I've got all the codes enabled on Riivo, but now it crashes when I click 'load'. It just cuts to a black screen and the Wii won't turn off or reset without being unplugged. Advice?

hey, does Riivo require FAT16 or FAT32 sd cards?

ok. but for my other codes, should they all be separate files, or should they all be saved as a single RSBE01.gct?

I'm assuming I do. How do I tell?

Yeah, I'm having pretty much the same problem. I have the File Patch code, but I don't think it's working properly.

Also, I'm following this tutorial, but I've made a couple of inor modifications, such as LetterBomb instead of BannerBomb, because I'm running 4.3u. However, I doubt this is what' messing me up. I tried to use a Waluigi texture, but when I ran the game, all it did was make second listings for Captain Falcon and Mario on the CSS in place of Snake and Sonic (i think). It also made a listing for Toon Link, which I had not unlocked officially yet.

I'm using Gecko. I'm pretty sure I'm following the tutorial right. I'm just confused about file names and such. And the tutorial's link to the Textures code is broken, but I think I found another one.
