Maybe update the OP so people don't think that Ridley, Shadow, and Waluigi are in the current build? I was severely disappointed.
2  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: The "Alternate Stage" code? on: October 29, 2011, 10:29:34 AM
Wow, thanks for the help! This is exactly what I'm looking for!
3  Help & Tutorials / Help / The "Alternate Stage" code? on: October 28, 2011, 07:05:36 PM
I'm not sure what it's called exactly, but I remember reading somewhere that there's a way you can have more than one texture on a stage. For example, say I had a texture for Final Destination to make it resemble it's Melee counterpart, and another to make it look like Tabuu's stage. The Melee Destination texture would be the "default" texture, and Tabuu's stage would be the "alternate" texture. Now, I don't remember how it worked exactly, but pressing a certain button (or maybe it was two, I can't really remember) would load the "alternate" texture. Do I need a code in order to do this?

(If you guys don't understand what I'm talking about, then maybe this method doesn't exist and I sorta dreamed it or something.)
4  Help & Tutorials / Help / Alloys Don't Freeze My Music? I beg to differ... on: October 28, 2011, 01:48:43 PM
Anybody that's anybody who uses the Fighting Alloy Team probably also uses the "Alloys Don't Crash My Music Code" or whatever it's called so that, obviously, using them won't freeze My Music. Now there's one tiny glitch in the code. Whenever I go to My Music, everything works fine. But, when I go to Mushroomy Kingdom and try to go down after "Underground Theme (Super Mario Bros.)" the game freezes. Now, before I started music hacking, I had all the songs I like with a high ratio and the ones I don't like with zero chance of appearing. I was planning on changing the Underwater Theme to something else, and then changing the ratio back to maximum with the other songs on the stage, but now I can't scroll down the list to get to it. Even when I'm not using codes, and just load the game normally, the game will still freeze when trying to scroll down on Mushroomy Kingdom. Help?

No, not like Special Brawl stamina, like the SSE enemy HP. Each enemy and boss has a certain number of HP for each difficulty, but it's not visible to the player. For example, Tabuu has 500 HP on Normal difficulty, while a Primid has about 20.

so you can't change the level so there is no bowser? you can't simply add boss data then rework it to work like my suggestion above?

Okay, I figured it out now. It's working perfectly while under the original name. I guess is was designed to only work on the Research Facility stage parts (I had tried to change it to the Ruins stage parts, which probably caused it to freeze.) Oh, and don't sweat it about the Shadow Bug textures. Just do them when you can.

Not completely sure where this should go, but I guess it is techncially a stage. It's basically an alteration to the King Dedede VS Bowser fight in the Subspace Emissary. The only change is that instead of fighting Bowser, you fight Giga Bowser. Now, this could go in one of two ways:

Option #1: Giga Bowser is fought in the style of Melee, an insanely powerful character who takes a lot of damage to beat. Obviously, Giga Bowser will be able to recieve knockback in this form, and if possible, his side-B (the Flying Slam) should be replaced with a non-grabbing Koopa Claw like in Melee (except with more damage given).

Option #2: Giga Bowser is fought like any other boss in Brawl, with an HP bar (Easy - 250, Normal - 300, Hard - 350, Very Hard - 400, Intense - 450). He will not take knockback in this form, and, like most bosses has a pattern in attacks.

First attack: Swipes twice with his claws, like Bowser's A attack (10% damage per hit)
Second attack: Fire Breath (lasts for 2 seconds; 5% damage per flame)
Third attack: Shadow Claw (depending on where the opponent is, he will use one of Bowser's tilts with a purple fiery effect (25% damage)
Fourth attack: Whirling Fortress (spins in his shell, and the attack will either do electric damage or freezing damage at random) (either attack does multiple hits. each hit does 5-7% damage, and can get up to 10 hits)
Fifth attack: Bowser Bomb (works like it normally does, but does 40% damage)

Also, in between each attack, Giga Bowser will spin around in his shell to the other side of the stage, sort of like a rolling dodge, it does no damage abut Giga Bowser is vulnerable to damage.

Wait a sec, now that I think about it, I did change it. I changed the file from STGEDIT_2.pac to STGEDIT_1.pac. Maybe it's only made to work on that specific pac? I'll test it out later at its original filename. Oh, and no, I don't have any other stage-related hacks on, textures, music, or otherwise.

Yes, I have it replacing STGEDIT_1.pac
It freezes after I hit OK after selecting stage background, size, and music.
Also, it IS STGEDIT_1, right? Not STGEDIT01? Some guy was telling me otherwise.

Well, it turns out the creator (camelot) has been inactive for nearly a year. Does anyone else have his Subspace Stage Builder Hack, and if so, does it work for you?

I guess it'd be better if I asked the guy that made the texture, but I'd rather just see if there's anyone on the forum who knows what to do. I figured something out though. The texture is in the right place, and has the right name, but for some reason it causes the game to freeze. Will message the creator asap. If I can't find anything out, I'll be back in 24 hours. Or, rather, whenever the topic goes on the second page. =3

Am I allowed to bump this, since no one has posted for days? Or does that still count as multi-posting?
