Sorry, do you mean removing some files under Ganon in the fighter folder? I'm still pretty scrubby at this. xD

Does it? So part 3 is the Brasr and part four is the sound file?

Nah, the links aren't reversed, part 3 and 4 both go to part 4. So you just gotta browse to find part 3.

i can give u my hacks if u want.

heres a latest video (few CSPs are different now, but thats pretty much it)

Oh you know what? I totally forgot to mention. Your link for part 3 actually goes to 4. So, SC3K, what you need to do is click the link that says "browse josephawiz's shared files" and click on part 3. Hope that helps.

I set it up and it's working great. Thanks Pervy!

EDIT: Some of Mewtwo's moves make the game freeze, and Ganondorf freezes as soon as he's supposed to spawn.

I looked there before, but didn't check top downloads. Thanks.

EDIT: Meh.. couldn't find anything noteworthy. Just going to have to do it the hard way. Disappointing considering how many errors I've already ran into. Sigh.  not impressed

8  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Game freezes at Stage Select on: October 13, 2011, 12:03:35 AM
I haven't changed any of that yet. All that I have changed are characters on my SD card. I was looking at the other thread about it freezing on the character select screen, and the pcs of the characters's compression is set to none. Setting it to LZZ7 may make a difference but I don't understand how that affects the stage select screen. It probably doesn't. Any ideas on how to fix this is greatly appreciated.

As for sc_selmap.pac, do I need to make the new images the same filesize as the old ones? Or does it need to be even lower? I was making a Buster sword icon for Cloud, so this is good to know.

Now to post specifically what I have changed:
Pit to Waluigi
Olimar to Cloud
Samus to Dark Samus

They all work great so I don't understand why stage select is having problems. :/
I should also note this is on a new Wii so all the characters and stages aren't unlocked yet.

Hello all! I am brand new to Brawl hacking! I just started with characters, so far I have loaded Cloud and Waluigi. I have not touched custom stages yet, however when it gets to stage select, it freezes after around 2 seconds. If I immediately choose random, it works. Very strange. I was wondering if anyone knew of a solution?

On another note, I am making a custom CSP for Cloud, and I wasn't sure where to put the sc_selcharacter_en.pac in my SD card.

Thanks a lot guys!
