I'm working on _small images as well, and all the CSPs and CBPs weren't made by me just downloaded and dragged to the newfiles folder. These were tested before so they should work.

EDIT: Oh yeah, some of the CSPs do not have corresponding CBPs. And another thing, I tried the original CUPASH but tplsplitter still crashed. Just thought I'd mention this.

I run step 2, but tplsplitter still crashes ending the process.  The error message I get is:

"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Step2 keeps telling me the .tga is not indexed, when in fact it is.

I download a .rar that had the a Toon Link texture and it's correspinding CSP in the form of a .tga. I place the .tga in the newfiles folder and run Step2_create in CUPASH, but it tells me the .tga is NOT indexed when in fact it is and the color palette is 72.

Any reason as to why this is happening?

Where do I put the Lyn-Sheena texture? And what do I rename the .pac?

I cannot wait for the Vega Metaknight. I hope you can include a CSP for that one.
