1  Help & Tutorials / Help / porting over alloys? on: October 23, 2012, 08:00:20 PM
So I downloaded a pack, it came with the stuff for porting marth over alloys. But when I do it, it just freezes. I put the alloy files into their spots, but nothing seems to want to work. *Shrug*

So, how do I use the alloys? I put in a bunch bunch bunch of codes like the giga and company and all the fixes, and css stuff. It eventually gave me seperate pokemon, zero alone, and shiek alone. (also a zelda alone) but no alloys/giga/warioman. Help?

I don't quite get how to port. I want to put roy in another slot. Is there any easy way to do this? and can somebody tell me how? And apparently only marth can port, which means no cloud in a seperate slot I presume. But either way.. all I really need is roy/marth.
6  Help & Tutorials / Help / Multiple versions of the same character? (I asked similar before, but ans conf) on: October 23, 2012, 12:12:43 PM
So you know theres Marth. Then theres Roy. And theres assassin marth. Theres Ike. Theres Cloud. theres Link. theres Zero. I want all of them in the same game. Is that possible?

Marth- then to have the Roy that goes over marth in another slot. Then the assassin marth in another slot. Basically, so when characters modify marth's moveset, i want to keep marth still. So I can just have multiple. How hard is this to learn to do? They told me something about rel files or something, but everytime I try that it freezes.

So is there A. an easier way or B. A good tutorial on doing this? Please and thank you.

Okay, so after I fix the codes, put in the .rel, what files do I need to put into fox (the one i'm replacing) for the roy to work?
8  Help & Tutorials / Help / Too many codes on: October 22, 2012, 10:33:03 PM
It lets me use the basic texture code, but if i try to add the codes for brawl plus or brawl minus (so I can use CSS and stuff like they do in minus) it says "too many codes" it's loading the codes from 3 seperate places, which might be the problem.. but i deleted it from the other 2, and it's still showing as if it's loading from them. so I really don't know how to fix this. any suggestions?

Is it possible for me to replace fox with another marth? Like, if I were to get good at manipulating "brawl box" could I make it so on the roster where it normally says fox, be another marth? But different? Like, one marth that acts like a normal one. Then the other marth would have full roy textures, and a roy movement change. So it's basically like brawl has marth and roy, instead of marth and fox. So then I could basically make a full roster of Marth/Ike/Roy/other fire emblem characters. Even if they had multiples that ran off marth, or ike, ect.

If this is possible, any links to "how" if it's not, is there a way to make multiples in another way? Like, make it so  one color marth fights like marth, another fights like roy, ect ect. so I can basically have marth and roy in the same match, using different movement/pac files. thx

Well, just barely I tried to put a new cheat on with the ocarina. (super link) and I couldn't seem to tell any difference. Which Hook type should I be using?

Sadly thats not it either. I even remember having this problem back when I first started trying to mod, and no textures would show up.

I tried that, and it still refused to work. Sad Nothing I try seems to have any affect. I've gotten the latest code from this site, i'm using ocarina in usb loader, it's the ntsc-u version...

So, I used to do a lot of brawl modding stuff. Mostly just using other peoples textures though. I then stopped using my wii for a couple (maybe 5 or 6) months, and now coming back can't seem to get the textures up.

I have the File Patch Code RSBE01 in /codes and i've go the /private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/Fighter/(name) all done, with all the characters/textures I want.

I open up the wii. Go to USB loader. Turn on Ocarina. It says it found the codes. loads up. And no textures. Any suggestions what i'm doing stupid?
