My wii's disk drive is broken, so I cant use disks. I tried to load it via gecko and choosing launch channel and it does not work.

The wii homebrew does work when I just use usb channel, but not via gecko, and I have all the character folders set properly. I used this guide. Do I need brawlbox for playing the new character hacks or is brawlbox just for making stuff?

I can't browse through the vault for textures. Whenever I try to click on a character it says :

And the rest is blank, like, there is nothing after the colon.

I can't load the hacks, IE, character textures. Ocarina DOES detect the cheats, but the hacks won't go through. I tried downloaded a sailor moon hack for zelda, changed zelda's blue outfit to sailor moons, to no avail.
