1  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Time To Replace My SD Card...? on: May 20, 2013, 02:38:29 PM
can you send a zipfile of the contents? i can take a look and see if you have anything that would clash/cause errors

The card and it's contents worked before though...I deleted that to run Project M on it, then deleted Project M to put the stuff I had on before.  Since then I've had the issue with nothing showing up on the Homebrew Channel.  I've done this in the past too, which makes me wonder why it's not working. :/

the problem might be the mode the homebrew channel is in. i think you can press 1 or 2 on wii remote or some button to switch it from usb to sd card.

might be wrong...i never use homebrew channel

Is it possible to use Riivolution with the 8GB SD Card I have...?  Assuming that's what you're referring to what you use.

Doesn't sound like an SD Card Lock Problem seeing how you are able to format it...

Is there anything that you have done prior to this?

Hmm...Like what exactly?  There's nothing abnormal I've been doing which I can think of that may be causing this.

The last time it worked I had Project M on it, then went to my computer to delete it and upload a bunch of texture hacks to play on regular Brawl (which I have backed up on my Desktop, which also work).  I just delete what's on the SD card, then copy and paste the other files I want to play. I've done this a few times over the past couple days (which I've had no problems with), and I've been using the SD card overall for about 3 or 4 weeks.

:/

Hey all,

So I got into hacking Brawl and such a few weeks ago, and I got it all figured out eventually and everything has been working great since.  I've used the same 2GB SD card to put the hacks I like to use on my Wii, but...

My problem  as of recently is when I open up the Homebrew Channel nothing shows up on the Channel/Menu (like GeckoOS).  I've never had this problem before, and the SD card is still functional as I'm still able to edit what's on it from my computer.  I know it has nothing to do with the Wii because I tried uploading with an 8GB SD card (which is compatible with the Homebrew Channel, but not in-game Brawl hacks), and Homebrew Channel options like GeckoOS were available.  I tried re-formatting it, but that didn't seem to help.

Anyone have this problem before?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!   Kirby Dance
6  Help & Tutorials / Help / Texture Hacks Corresponding with CSPs Issue! on: April 30, 2013, 08:41:35 PM
Hey guys, noob hacker here who needs some help.

I'm mostly interested in texture hacking, and have managed to set everything up such that it mostly runs fine and whatnot, but...  My main problem is my CSPs do not match the textures I assign to each character's skin. I'm well aware of how to apply the textures depending on the character's color/skin (ex: naming FitCaptain02.pcs as the texture file in (F:)>private>wii>app>RSBE>pf>fighter>captain to replace Captain Falcon's green texture, corresponding to MenSelchrFaceB.093 in Brawlbox).
Before launching Brawl with the SD card, I've made sure my textures hacks correspond correctly with each CSP replacement I've set in BrawlBox.  When I get to the character select menu, all my CSPs are in the correct order as I put them in on the SD card, but once I get in-game it messes up, and I'll be a different character from what I should be.

Example:
Lets say I have modified texture A (Fitsnake01) set to Snake's Red/Black (01) outfit.
Also, Texture B (Fitsnake02) to Snake's Green (02) outfit.
And Texture C (Fitsnake05) to Snake's Wild Feline Camo (05) outfit.
I choose The CSP corresponding to Fitsnake05, and start a match.  When the match starts, I will have the texture corresponding to Fitsnake02.
This happens with all of my characters, and the order in which the CSPs to texture hack differ per character too.

My question is, has anyone had this problem before? What could be causing it? Might some codes I'm using be interfering? Anyone know what I could to do fix it besides going in manually changing everything (which would take forever...)?

If it helps, I run everything through GeckoOS, and use ASF1nk's Dark Flaming Blue CSS (http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=2219&Moderated=All&facebook=true) , the codes that come with it, and  the basic brawl hacking codes listed in most brawl tutorials around.

Hope to hear back from someone soon, and thanks for the help in advance!  If anyone needs any more info I'd be happy to provide it if it means getting this fixed!  Wink
