2  Help & Tutorials / Help / Putting the Character Select Screen back to Normal? on: September 22, 2013, 02:33:18 PM
So, I assume this is natural, anyways, ever since I first hacked my ssbb... the character select screen changed, to a format like this The whole lined out high in the middle thing. Anyways, a few reasons I need it back to normal. Like the character selection screen is in an un hacked version of brawl... How the boxes are laid out, that is. Probably a simple question, but i've gotten nowhere on my own. Not sure what to do... Any help would be appreciated greatly! Smiley

4  Help & Tutorials / Help / Quick Gecko, Riivolution question? on: July 03, 2013, 01:57:16 AM
So, I am a Gecko user. But I would like to get my new characters voices in the game with sawndz if at all possible. I don't really know much about Riivolution at the moment... But is it possible for me to insert sawndz files into the game with Riivolution??? But continue using Gecko(Would the sawndz files continue to work in the game?)? Thnx in advance! Smiley
5  Help & Tutorials / Help / sc_selcharacter2 goes... on: June 12, 2013, 05:28:13 PM
So I'd prefer to not use the whole common.5 pac. on my SD card. And I wanted to make sure that what i'm about to ask would work fine. So if I export sc_selcharacter2_en out of the common5 .pac then I can put it in pf/systems, right? It will work fine then like that? Thanks Smiley
6  Help & Tutorials / Help / Putting in Sawn files??? on: May 26, 2013, 01:59:36 AM
So I downloaded a hack that came with a .sawnd file and a folder that says strm. And inside that folder it says Z02.strm Undecided Anyways, I'm not sure what to exactly do with them. I put both them in the sound folder on my SD card. Loaded up, no special voices... So, the .sawnd file says Waluigi Time(a hack over diddy kong) (Obviously not what it should be named... Assumingly) So do I keep both those in the sound folder and rename the .sawnd file to something else??? And if I need to rename it, what do I rename it to...??? Or am I completely off right now...??? Thanks for the help  Smiley I appreciate it.
7  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Stupid noob (me) can't get textures to go in! on: May 16, 2013, 05:05:57 PM
I fixed the only using one filepatch code last night like literally just after posting. Turns out the issue was the .gct thing like Bloody Canadian said. I got it working now  Happy Face THANKS A TON!!!!
8  Help & Tutorials / Help / Stupid noob (me) can't get textures to go in! on: May 16, 2013, 12:22:44 AM
I've litterrally spent about seven hours today just trying to get the stupid character textures to load in my game.  I've mainly tried the gecko/cheat manager way of doing this (Riivolution's giving me a fuss Angry ). But once I boot up the game from it. It says "sd card contains no cheat codes" or whatever...  Embarrassed

Here's all that I did... I put Gecko and cheat manager in the apps folder. they work, at least...
Did the whole private/wii/rsbe/pf/
then after pf there's four different folders: fighter,info,info2,stage
in the fighter folder there's a folder that read: marth.
then in that folder is my .pac file. It reads FitMarth00.pac    (it's one of the three files that came in the lucina folder i got, trying three at once didn't work either, nor did two at once) the info, info 2 and stage folders are empty.
I have another folder in the root of the sd card that reads: txtcodes
and in that folder is a text file that reads: RSBE01.txt
the writing in the RSBE01.txt file are the two code things for these two things
The two code's are called:
File Patch Code v3.5.1: [Phantom Wings] - Update #3
File Replacement: v2.1a: [Phantom Wings] - Updated 4/16/09

then i put the sd card in my wii. go to the cheat manager.
click on the RSBE01.txt file. Then two files show up, one on says
225664EC 000000000
The other says
File Replacement: v2. 1a: [Phantom Wings] - Updated 4/16/09
So I press the + button on the file replacement one "trying the other didn't help" Hit the 1 button on it next.
Then it says:

Scan Item List...
File Replacement: v2. 1a: [Phantom Wings] - Updated 4/16/09/ ...[OK]

/codes/File Patch Code v3.5.1: [Phantom Wings] - Updates #3.gct can not open
! Press any key exit

So I exit, try up Gecko 1.9.3.1 Hit launch game, it says setting up drive...
then it says
game id RSBE01
no cheats in sd card(something like that)

Sorry for how long this is, but wanted to be thorough. This is probably just another idiot rookie mistake... Sorry for the inconvenience. But need help bad. REALLY, bad. If I don't end with something to show for I'm going to FREAK! Looked through just about everything on the web. Don't know where I went wrong????
