I've been trying to learn how to model import, but all the tutorials are for characters. Are there any good tutorials for porting models onto stages?

Well that explains the lack of model imports on that stage, I guess I'll just download the daytime hack then. Thanks for the help

I tried doing a background swap on Halberd, (Replacing the background with this one: http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/792/b7c81522e38453d7.jpg) but the game freezes whenever I select the stage.
-How I did the hack
I exported the ModelData[1] from the hack "Battleskiff" and imported it into ARC 2 of Halberd, then I put all the textures the background I imported uses and imported those into texturedata[1]

Why does brawl keep freezing?

This is really strange, for some reason homebrew is missing from my wii. I have all the files on my SD card (GeckOS, all of my brawl hacks, etc.) so I just need a way to download the channel again.

I wanted to get into making stages and wondered if someone could link to some tutorials on how to vertex hack, model import, animate stages, and edit collision data.

where do I put sc_selmap_en in my sd card? also do i need to remove the _en?

Good thing the sound effects work in GeckOS, I never want to ISO hack Brawl

I saw this awesome sound effect hack and I was wondering how I get the hack onto brawl, do I need the ISO

So I got bored and decided to play Melee, I inserted the disc and guess what: Wii:''Insert disc". I pressed the eject button and the disc doesn't come out...
So is there a way to get it back out?
EDIT: How can I open my Wii to remove it manually, what size of screwdriver do I need?
This may not be the smartest idea but try using tweezers to get out the disk instead of opening your wii. Thats what I do when my SD gets stuck

BTW: I'm aware that this thread isn't directly related to Brawl-Hacking but it's stopping me from doing so (or playing Wii-Games AT ALL).

It's the only one I ran into problems with, beside melee

I just downloaded the iso off the internet, not sure if it's trimmed but the file size is around 4.5 GB so I don't think so
