Oh, I think there's a code for that. I'll see if I can find it, If I can, I'll edit this post later :O

2  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Can excessive codes/SD card files create controller input lag? on: July 26, 2013, 07:44:53 AM
Some textures can cause this. As well as music replacements as well.

Some of the textures in the vault even state that using the character + another hacked character can cause lag, Or that having multiples in excess of 2+ can do it as well.

What I might do (if I were you, not giving you instructions to fix it because there really IS no fix) Is to either cut down the size of the codes so that the wii has less to fumble through while you're playing, or try checking specific matchups.

While you're playing, do you find that X link costume causes lag with Y Olimar? If so, then it could be the textures, and the only fix for that is either scale back the number of textured characters on the screen at once, or that are on the wii entirely :O
3  Help & Tutorials / Help / Re: Getting Codes into USB Loader GX on: July 26, 2013, 07:36:23 AM
@ OP

OKAY~ Finally something I can help with.

As far as I can tell, your SSBB can be loaded just fine through USB, but can't be "hacked" through the SD card like normal. you can activate the codes just fine, but you'll never get the textures to read.

However, if you use wii-scrubber, open up the brawl  ISO, and go into the Data Partition, you'll find folders like you would place in your SD card (Fighter, system ,ect)

From there, you need to turn off ALL other programs while you do this (yet, even your internet browser) to prevent crashing.

You'll need to rightclick  each individual file, click load, then navigate to your replacement file (I suggest sorting them out so as to help navigation.) The WiiScubber will replace the file, reload, and you'll have to navigate back to where you were to continue, repeat until finished.

Then make sure your codes are loaded into a folder at the root of your SD card called "codes" boot them with USBGX or NeoGamma (I personally use NeoGammaR8, hasn't failed me yet, and all my textures except two seem to work just fine, which I think was an error on my part because I used beta skins.) With cheats enabled, and you're off to the races Cheesy

Otherwise, I have no idea on how to boot the game from USB and load from SD, I'd prefer that TONS over having to do this rig-a-ma-roar, but since my disk drive is busted, Gecko and riivolution arn't going to work for me.

(I should mention that I've only used this method for texture hacking thus far. I'm pretty sure stages and possibly system files can be edited this way, but I'm not quite sure about Character select portaits, ect.

Also, you'll want to backup your brawl ISO to another folder, copy it to another folder, and use the copy for hacking. Another problem is that once you save the hacked ISO, it compresses it somewhat, making it impossible for you to re-open the ISO and edit it, as far as I know. Meaning you'll have to re-do EVERYTHING if one thing doesn't work. xD (When I tried, my Scrubber bugged out on me D:)

(Again, I've only tried this with textures and personal experience. I'm no pro and you might have a better program for editing files like this, or a program that will let you re-open the files for editing later, and if so ,GIMMIE GIMMIE.  Happy Face

Have you tried renaming the rel into

FitFalco00.rel? I know it sounds silly, but I had a problem like this and It seemed to make it work o_O

Edit for the third time:

I am a moron.

Much Thanks, Maaaan Cheesy

Now I just need to find out how to work in custom pictures for selection. I don't care if it takes time, I just love the prospect of getting "new" characters xD
6  Help & Tutorials / Help / Loading brawl textures from NeoGamma / USB GX? on: July 24, 2013, 02:27:26 PM
I've checked my path a dozen times, the codes Load but have no effect.

I've tried using NeoGamma, USB GX, USB config loader and wiiflow, but none of them seem to "install" the textures. The codes get loaded and I've confirmed that I'm using the right code (the USA one) as well as my region code.

Here's my path EXACTLY

g:>private/wii/app/RBSE/pf/fighter/ike

The files remix the entire character into ichigo, and I've made sure all the "fit's" are there, but should they be lowercase? Is anything case sensitive?

I mean I know I have to be screwing up SOMEHOW...unless NeoGamma / USB isn't loading it.

I'm unable to use the GeckoOS or Riivolution because my disk drive is damaged, but I own a legal copy of SSBB.

Tried booting it with all hooks, and in debug. All with cheats activated (Orcana: ON)

also, please refrain from using "Google is your best friend". That means you either know nothing and wanted to seem coy, or you know something and you feel your ego getting stiff over itself. I've googled the CRAP out of this subject, I've been working on this for -LITERALLY- 30 hours -JUST- to get to this point.

If there's anything else I can provide, I'll put it down here:
