is there a new download somewhere? i downloaded the 1.3 version and everytime i'm a couple of minutes into a battle blaze keeps 'teleporting' to the side when she's in teh air until she dies. jumping cancels that.

Try removing the result screen and see what happens.

zorrodood, use the results screen offered by cBliss, make sure that your slots are correctly compressed, and also, check your stages too.

the cbliss result screen is the only one i have ever had on my sd card (does the PAL version need a different one?), i don't know which slots you mean and i don't have any stages.
is there a result screen in the OP? and btw i have no idea what the OP is or where to get it.

i installed everything new and i'm using gecko now. i'm having dummy files for every costume and the costumes work fine, but i'm getting a black screen after every brawl match, no matter if someone wins or i just quit. training and single player work fine. it freezes only when a result screen is supposed to come up.

Have all costume slots filled before you play. Or you'll get a silent freeze.

i'm not getting any freezes. it's just that when i select a stage it says 'loading...' and the brawl icon keeps spinning for all eternity. it happens with any character, modified and unmodified. and only with gecko.

i kinda could use a tutorial for PAL and riivolution, 'cause i'm not really sure how everything is supposed to look like in the end.
i got it half way to work. when i'm using riivolution mario and ness have a 01 and luigi has a 02 costume but nobody has 06-09. when i'm using gecko the costumes are all there, but if i select a stage in a brawl it gets stuck in an eternal loading 'screen'.
and riivolution gives me a black screen at when the result screen is supposed to come up.

soooo.. where's the update with the PAL codes?
