Sorry guys. It's been awhile, but I've been trying to mod with sd card and usb loader gx. Guess what? It doesn't work, like I've been told. So What am I doing wrong?

Wait, you don't need to make a new iso to play it in usbloadergx. Just set the game load options to "Ocarina On" and run the game. Just set up your sd card like you were using usb gecko instead of a usbloader.

Well, My disk drive broke, that's why I use usblgx. I do use the Orcarina cheats in usblgx; that's how I get my modded iso to work. I've been told that any usbloaders don't register SD Card mods. Or am I wrong.

Well I've already got a modded iso that I play with usbloadergx. So since I've done that, I was hoping there was some way I could use what I know, but I guess not seeing as the iso only has so much space. So unless I could make a custom iso, I don't know what else to do.

I was just wondering about this new BrawlEx Clone Engine, and I wanted to know if it's possible to use it on an iso?

I've already modded a Brawl iso directly before, so I just thought it might be fun having a complete BrawlEx iso.

Any help would be appreciated.

I just used Wiiscrubber to extract the iso contents.

I did it! I actually did it! even though no one cares, but I did it...

I went back with the first process and I found out that it was the addition of custom stages that screwed it up.

Man I wish I could use a Stage expansion and custom stages, but I doubt that's possible doing that inside an iso. But unless anyone knows how to, I'm just going to have to replace levels instead of adding them.

Here's my problem maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Process 1:
Step 1: open iso in Wiiscrubber 1.4 and "Save" Partition file
Step 2: copy and overwrite unmodded files w/mods and leave the extra unmodded files in.
Step 3: Create new Partition w/partition builder, open Wiiscrubber and replace old partition with modded partition.
*Failed* -Freezes at stage select

Process 2:
Step 1: Open iso in Wiiscrubber
Step 2: replace all files with mods one by one in Wiiscrubber
*Failed* -freezes at character select

Process 3:
Step 1: open iso in Wiiscrubber 1.4 and "Save" Partition file
Step 2: delete old files
Step 3: Replace with modded files
Step 4: Create new Partition w/partition builder, open Wiiscrubber and replace old partition with modded partition.
*Failed* -freezes at character select

a little... I don't scrub, I just extract a partition and replace it.

Yeah the loader automatically puts the cheats onto the SD Card. and I went in and put the codes in. the loader reads them.
But the codes aren't the problem!
I tried 3 different types of making a hacked iso and all 3 freeze on me either when I select Group Brawl or stage select. IDK how to fix this.

I use characters like shadow and goku. some have .rels. and all, if not most, have PSAs. and a couple use codes. luckily USBLDRGX uses ocarina cheats.

Also does it matter which Wiiscrubber version I use, 'cuz I use v1.4?

Should I convert it to WBFS before I put it on the manager? 'cuz I put it in the manager as an iso.

Second, everyone says mods only work with SD Cards and Gecko/Riivolution.

How do I do it w/o making my game freeze.

Now I know a while back I asked in another thread about modding and creating an SSBB iso. Now everyone says that it couldn't be done, and as far as I tried it can't seeing as when I do the game freezes.

But... there is at least 1 or 2 hacked ssbb games as ISOs. And I would love to hunt those creators down and beg them for help?
