sc_selcharacter and sc_selmap are best when you're editing them as you can just pull out the sd card and put back in to see changes. Common5 gets loaded into memory so you have to restart the Wii each time you make changes. Other than that; Either/or.

Oh? I was unaware that you could remove the SD card while running mods with, what is it, Smashstack(thats the Stage Editor loader right?)?

But either way works eh? I probably will stick with just using common5 then, since its a nice clean, one file to work with thing. I like it like that. Okay thank you very much.

Hello. It has been awhile since I was on the brawl modding scene(The two mods I made kinda suck anyway) and recently I returned. Now I am messing around doing things I didn't do before, such as Custom CSS and such. However, I know that the Common5 file has a filesize limit it can reach before freezing(Not sure what that is again? 12.4 mb?). I also know that both selcharacter and selmap of common5 can be used in menu2 folder(or so I am lead to believe). So here is my question; Which is more effective to use? All textures and what not in common 5? Or splitting up into selcharacter and selmap?

I truly apologize if this has been asked many times before. Sorry.

Hello again. Remember how I asked if it was alright to make CSPs, ABPs, BPs, and stock Icons for your Neptunia characters? Well I was doing that, 5pb first, and I noticed that she only has 1 costume(as is in the actual game too so not your fault), and so I decided to create multiplayer colors for her since she doesn't have any. However, I would like to ask if this is alright with you, since your the one that took the time to actually rig the character. Currently Pink costume is done.

1 - its cause of the way ZSS bones r set up.. they all mostly fit over ZSS, altho im rigging 1 over zelda cause that 1 fits her just fine.

2 - if u want to go ahead and do it, then fine with me

1. I see. I had assumed such. Unfortunate that they can't easily have their bones reshaped to fit other characters better. Ah well.

2. I see. Very well, then since it seems like your 5pb already has a CSP and BP(technically a ABP too), I'll make a stock icon. ANd if it's not to your liking, I guess that will be the end of that Laugh.

Also, any other plans for HDN characters? Again, curious and if it was on the first page I may have missed it Embarrassed

The imported model has to be able to fit over the original character's bone tree. White Heart wouldn't work over Ike because his shoulders are too broad and I'm sure his hands would be too large, etc.

I tried rigging Purple Heart over Sheik, but the shoulders were too wide and the hips, knees and neck didn't match. I could've edited the model to fit the bones but then she would've looked really weird Sad So she just defaults over ZSS like the other HDN characters. :/

I see. Thats a damn shame. I'm not sure, since I have as I said, been out of the brawl modding scene, but could one edit the bones to fit the model? Oh well, better to have them, even if they all do have the same movesets, then not at all. And who knows, maybe someone will make them work one day. I'm just hoping no more HDN characters come out that fit over ZSS. She simply doesn't have to room to have them all.

Hello. Been a long time since I was at these boards, but when I stumbled upon HDN characters in Brawl, I revived my account. I gotta say that these are just awesome and they look great. However, there are some things I wanna know, and I apologize in advance if these questions have already been asked(and thusly answered), but there are some things I have been wondering.

1. Was there any reason for them all to be over ZSS? I mean I assume there must be. My guess is something to do with the bones(or is it vertexs? Idk, I apologize for this as well, it's been a long time since I did this stuff.), or some such. It's just that, I dunno, seems like some characters would fit better over others, like for example White Heart(IMO), would be an Ike model replacement, and someone like 5pb would be a Peach model replacement. I don't know, maybe I'm just being some foolish fan or something, and if I am, I'm sorry.

2. Do you need someone to create CSP, BP, ABP, Stock Icons? I am fairy confident in my abilities as an image editor, if you want them done.

I must once again, and for the last time, apologize if me asking you this is something you don't want to deal with, I am just curious.
