Hi there! I'm pretty inexperienced with modding outside of swapping skins and stages, however when I saw that someone had managed to get Brawl Ex and PM working together I decided to dive back in. However I coudln't find a newb friendly tutorial on how to get it running first. I have working PM 3.6 (the leaked version with Lyn) and I downloaded the PM + BRAWLEX V.0.5 by Sikura however I'm not sure what to do with the files.   I tried throwing them into my PM sd.raw but it only loaded vanilla brawl on dolphin. Can anyone direct me to a guide or some quick pointers?

Hi there. I just got BrawlEx installed the other day and made a copy of Marth, but I've noticed that whenever a match ends the game crashes before going to the victory screen. Looking at the dolphin log it appears the game is looking for something called FitMarthExResult.pac in the fighter file.

I've never heard of a "result" file before and its not in any of the BrawlEx folders. I've noticed that it's listed on the fighter3F file in BrawlExConfig Utility though. Has any one encountered this problem?

**UPDATE**: So I figured out that if you change the Result option in the config utility it removes the need for that file. Which begs the question: What is it used for anyway?

Hi there. I followed PhantomWings "Regular Brawl" video tutorial to put in BrawlEx with Gecko. I was trying to add in Marth with the id 3F like the video. But I put the files into projectMs  pf/fighter, pf/module and pf/system folder and the BrawlEx folder in projectm/pf instead of making a new RSBE folder like the video. When I tried to run it the extra slot was a copy of mario and also the random "?" portrait was also replaced with mario's.

Is there anything specific I need to do to run BrawEx with project m? Should I put the Ex files in a seperate root like in the video?

Just noticed the comment in the tutorial thread that it most likely wont work with Project M. Are the designers planning to implement that at some point?

So I currently have Lucina over Marth, but I'd like to keep him and put it over Dedede. Will it be possible to use her sound effects over Dedede's? I'm assuming they were designed to replace Marth's so I'm uncertain..

HI there. I've been using an SD card with project M for all my texture hacks so far and I know where I can put the small battle portraits by going into the pf folder, All the tutorials I've seem to being going into the "full" folder to the common5.pac all the way to char_bust_tex_lz77. I edited and saved one of the portraits in brawlbox amd put the folder back on th sd card but it doesnt seem to be showing up on the character select screen when I run it on dolphin. Is there a special step im missing?
