1  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Project Concepts / Re: Super Smash Vs Jump! *help wanted* on: January 02, 2015, 01:32:46 PM
lol oh yeah its gonna be a pack for sure, but i want to make an ISO builder(or mod project M's batch file) so that people can make their own stand alone. I know i will have a few recolor options as far as costumes for things like Sasuke and his Susanno, kid naruto's 9 tails form etc.. once i get some textures, models, and movesets done i will definitely need someone to make the additional colors

Super Smash Vs Jump

For starters I am new to the SSBB modding/hacking community, I am an indie game developer, worked on a few projects on the Xbox 360 indie market place, as well as done a few small projects (pc based) most of the work i have done though has been 2d rpg's. But i have done some character modeling for ZEQ2. After goofing around with some mods and mod packs i realised that Project M 3.5 is so far the most stable mod, i have ran it and played all kinds of different modes for hours with friends and have yet to hit a hitch(other then injecting smash 3 into it) so my goal is simple. With J Stars VS victory not being release in the US at least not anytime soon, and it only being available on Playstation which i dont agree with at all, i decided to work on my own mod. Im sure some of you have played Battle Stadium D.O.N. for gamecube, it has a very similar gameplay model as smash bros but the characters dont look as polished as they do in J stars which follows closer to the SSBB models especially if using the smash 3 textures.. my goal is to add the J stars roster to SSBB and creating textures that match closer to the SSBB models, and make the characters more balanced and closer to how they react in battle stadium d.o.n. ive played with user created Goku, and Naruto characters in mods and packs but they still feel too choppy compared to SSBB regular roster, as well as the textures dont fit in...i want to create a mod that can be a stand alone ISO and run as well as Project M putting these great characters into the game... I am requesting Help, honestly with anything..if i dont get help it will still get done, its not my first rodeo modding, or designing anything. just new to SSBB and will take a little longer learning some new things.

Hello; dbgenerations
Im too much of a n00b to understand this problem. Also, a brother of mine is running smash 3 pm 3.5 on an iso using USBloaderGX, of course excluding certain aspects from our release that freezes PM.... he has no issues.

ISO builder? Isn't that when you burn files on a disk or something?

And Im running our current unreleased build on mine using dolphin, no issues.

This is an issue that is not related to smash 3, therefore is not our fault and you must look elsewhere for assistance.

If you don't make our Peach well endowed, then yes, go ahead!

well the only difference between my injected iso with Smash 3, and the iso without smash 3 is the smash 3 textures, aside from renaming the game ID so that i can have multiple versions i did not change anything. there are 2 versions of the smash 3 textures, one for brawl and one for PM, im injecting the pm textures into the pm mod before building the ISO, would it be a better idea to use the brawl textures, mod brawl, then inject the project m mod but not overwriting character files??? im new to ssbb modding and in my short time have noticed the smallest miscalculation can make nothing work lol. just trying to get some advice from someone who has maybe done this before.

alright im needing some help, i am trying to inject these textures into the ProjectM iso and i keep running into issues, the first time i overwrote the current project M files before running the ISO builder, but i was only running ISO builder for 3.0 not 3.5, the ISO built and ran but i would get random crashes mid match some times, i finally realised that maybe it was that i was using the wrong ISO builder batch file, so i downloaded the updated one and built the ISO again, well i built 2 iso's one without the Smash 3 pack, and one with, the one without runs without a hitch now, literally no problems at all so far, but the one with smash 3 pops up asking me to insert the smash bros disc, ive never had that happen before with any of my backups. i changed the game ID on the one with smash 3 to RSBEWU instead of RSBEPM since i already had the iso without smash 3 on the HDD, is it possible changing the Game ID is whats causing the insert disc error? thanks guys FYI these textures look great really takes full advantage of the 480p limit
