So, from what WiiBrew says, there's a chance of the Wii getting bricked even if it wasn't hacked? That's BS.
Lemme get this straight, I update my HBC, update the Wii, and I'll still have HBC. What about my Gecko wad? Does that stay? It wouldn't work anyways, considering that it's a 19.2b Gecko. I'm just scared that this'll brick my Wii.
It won't brick your Wii. It's safe, trust me. Don't listen to people who are telling you not to update when they haven't updated themselves, so they don't even know.
I used to use Numbers to make lists of my textures, but now I just use Spotlight Comments. SO much easier. (And no one here is going to know what the hell I'm talking about, because I'm the only texture hacker here who uses Mac. >_>)
I don't know why some people refuse to believe that the Forbidden 7 were meant to be playable characters. Sakurai even said himself that there were a lot more characters that he wanted in the game, but didn't make it in due to time restraints.
Awesome, thanks!! I love it that people are actually using my textures... I might pick up that EBA stage that I dropped sometime, and maybe finish that meme stage, too... I just have so many texture ideas, but I don't have the time to do them. Plus I've been addicted to Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. XD Which gives me an idea... What stage would make a good Mario & Sonic stage texture?
I'm actually gonna fix it up a little myself, so there'll be a new download link soon. Flyinggoblin's was good, but some of the textures are a pixel or two off. Yeah, I'm that picky. XD
Updating the HBC can't brick your Wii. And you can always download the newest version from WiiBrew and install it manually. HBC 1.0.4 and below won't work on Wii Menu 4.2.
I meant the chance of brick from the nintendo update to 4.2.
In the unlikely case that it does brick, you can just send it in to Nintendo to get it fixed...
The chance that your Wii will brick is very unlikely, and what reason do you have for not updating the HBC?
I'd rather not risk any chance of brick after it almost happened a few months ago. Because whenever I click on 'Update' on the main menu of HBC, it tries to but fails to update. And I also don't want to update HBC unless I have to, since it works fine for me at the moment.
