Can't wait for further progress, Leader.

Kyouma: Err. Like the reflections, but the Gold feels very...much like American and Swiss cheese mixed.

I don't even know how it works:

Rigged using skin wrap. Will be re-rigging along with adding extra bones for a PSA.

My versions 1&2 are rigged over Ganon. It's very odd and interesting to see a CF rig. Speaking of which, I really should release a final version.

Evil Ryu and Squid Kids? Noice!

More Sm4sh Updates. Also, Sonic is nearly finished.

Tip: For those of you taking in game screenshots, set the native resolution to 3x and put dolphin in fullscreen. The quality of your images will be much better and much less pixelated.

so... here's a thing... too fast maybe? :v

Glad to see that you finally admitted it lol.

------

Speaking of Sm4sh imports

Sonic's 6th time being retextured and I feel as though this is extremely close, so I do not plan on changing the colors. All that is left are material edits, rig fixing, and fixing the eye highlights. I'll most likely give him Brawl Sonic's eyes for proper eye movement and slap Sm4sh Sonic's eye texture over it.

Bowser...once again. This is currently aesthetically updated, so the rig is still the same. I'm going for a more cleaner and detailed look like in Sm4sh. His orange scales are a big issue with this. His rigging had more issues than I realized. Soon, I'll revamp his rigging once more and take down the old upload to give focus to the update. I made a resolution not to release very messy riggs.

"pulled myself away from Splatoon long enough to do this.

Oh the sweet irony lol.

Progress. I feel like I'm getting really close to his Sm4sh appearance.

Side Note: Also. Has anyone heard of "jaystring"? Their doing glorious work with the Sm4sh cast. I've been trying to get my Marth to look that beautiful!

I was gone for a while because I was vacationing on a cruise without free WiFi. It was relaxing to take a break from work. Anyway, I did manage to fix one major issue to make this guy look much better.

Possibly because we do models and textures at a quality that is very rare to find nowadays. They aren't just imports of Smash4, anyone can do that. We work with what we have and make it look damn good.

It's 2015. Anyone can do basic animation swaps and hitbox editing with brawlbox. If you want to wow the community, then do something great. Or you can keep wishing that it's 2012 and whine about lack of recognition.

now for something related to the thread:

Current progress on a new model. Trashed Raven because I had no idea what I'm doing. Should be easy to guess who it is.

Not sure if you're downplaying importing Sm4sh models or not. Just like you said about Sma4sh model, anyone can add subtle rimlighting and make custom textures. The difference is the effort put into our work that makes the difference. It's tedious work to import, optimize, rig, do materials, and texture work to emulate Sm4sh characters respectfully. Heck, models in general are a pain to do. I probably give myself more work because I don't use the "Skin Wrap" method. I mean, I, personally, don't just do a quick rig for those models and call it a day with something that looks bland. Same can be said for Smash 3 stuff. Hard work was definately put in to make those customs textures, balancing file size with quality, renders, and making constant changes before release. I could have misunderstood your post though. If so, I apologize Kirby Dance.

Well, this is as basic as he is going to get. I may have to see about pro-optimizing the heck out of him as the file size is not the issue when adding effects. Shadow has a larger file size and works fine with both reflections and rimlighting.

Haven't shown any updates in a while.

Smash Wii U Sonic?

The real deal this time.
56  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: June 30, 2015, 08:18:46 AM
Alright

FD Link: Nice! Lol those fingers. Oh 3DS.

Wrecking Crew: Need I say anything?

Duck Hunt: Amazing! Skipped leg day not even once.

Lucina: She ate peppers? lol

*Don't know the blue haired girl's name*: Must be hard finding the right proportions. Then again, I bet bone edits help a ton. Looking good.

And finally, since Marth and DK nearing completion I've decided to start working on this guy as both a request and personal interest.

1) This ISN'T the place to post Stage WIPs when there's a Stage WIPs thread.

2) A thread's popularity is not what defines where you should post things

3) Is it an absurd thought that it would be more popular if people actually started posting their stage WIPs there???

If it's a serious issue, then someone should ask SW to change this to fit the category. What was the original idea for this thread? Soley characters? If that were true then the creator messed up big time. As this in "Work In Progress" you should be generally fine accept smash mod of the sort the is in progress. Many do post their stages on that thread, but it gets no recognition anyway.

I think people forget that the WIP for stages isn't this one =I

You seem to forget that this is a general Work In Progress thread. Also, the stage thread is nowhere near as popular as this.

Luigi looks so out of place. He looks photoshopped into this beauty of a stage. Lighting does wonders. Haha, Hipster Bowser.
