More progress. Toon Link's proportions may be too stubby after all! perhaps Ness's frame is the way to go.

But nah, the bow and shield are worth it.

Ignore the arm and leg textures, of course.

Edit: On second thought, maybe a size-mod on Pit would be better?

Heh, maybe. I assumed it was because his arms and legs were so long.

It should be as close as possible to this...

We've come full circle

Cool President, Turbo!

So, I'm making a Toon Link version of my Pit alt for Project M. Despite it being one of my favorite models, his proportions kinda make him look like a man-baby, lol. (Since he was based on his Melee trophy)

These "cuter" proportions should suit him well.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. More alts are coming next update.

The file was on my old computer I had a year ago, so I can't really compare them now.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.

I was just wondering if there was a good tutorial for it, since last time I tried to mod a trophy, it didn't go too well. The model showed up in the trophy viewer, but once you switched to Diorama mode it froze.

That Roy model really needs its sheath.
Hmm, well it caused a lot of clipping on the cape so it wasn't included. Also, he only had it in his trophy and victory animations in Melee-- I even had a new sheath made, but removed it in the end. I think filesize was an issue, too.

Wait, is it Roy or the fact that it's New Pork City?
it was the wrong image, lol. I decided not to change it though to keep this new thing under wraps. Come to think of it... Deleting the post would've been better

It keeps happening!!

Such is the circle of life. by "life" I mean BrawlVault

I guess we can say live and let live, right? The people who'll improve will, and the ones who don't have the drive will find something else to do.

Oh god there are like 15 new ones on the vault, why does this keep happening

Also, thanks for sympathizing with my pain, guys.

Heya people--Just hear me out on this one. There's a trend I've noticed going around recently, and I've always had this on my mind but have never really said it. Bright colors are cool and all, but simply upping the saturation isn't gonna make it look good.

Here are some points I thought up:
-The colors don't even resemble Smash 4
-The skin becomes an orange-ish oompa loompa spray tan. Don't saturate the skin, please.
-It doesn't work on all characters, like Marth for example. His color scheme calls for a midnight blue, and it's a calming color that's supposed to be cool. When you up the saturation, it looks more obnoxious.

Here's how people tend to view smash 4 style:

And here's how it actually looks:
