That's somewhat unfair Sad Why some people can have their own charcters in Brawl with the new BrawlBox while the majority of us can't as they don't wanna share the new BrawlBox?

I don't think it's the same problem, but with the most recent released version of BB, it always made models I edited lag in-game, I made it not lag by removing some of the "FF" bytes toward the beginning of the mdl0, and subsequently fixing the header.

That model works in game, anyways disregard that.

What if you take an original unedited model and edit the name of one bone by one letter/number, and then open up the original and the edited one in a comparison program, the only thing that should be changed is one byte, if something else is changed wouldn't that be the source of the problem?

When I tried it, it did have all those "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" things but upon re-open it was normal.

hmm odd.... cause TvC uses Version5 CHR0's as it says in ur BB... but here's a pic of a TvC stage CHR0 file after its been saved, then re-opened in the same BB.

Edit: its done it to 4 CHR0 files in this stage of mine..

Before the CHR0 get's messed up, change it to version 4 chr0, it should save fine.

As in last version, do you mean modset 1 or v0.63d?

modset 1 I think, your last version.

edit: It only crashes when I try to expand without first previewing. If I preview it, the model preview window opens, gives me an error saying "The Undo operation encountered a context that is different from what was applied in the corresponding Set operation. The possible cause is that a context was Set on the thread and not reverted(undone)." Then the window opens with nothing displayed, though I can still turn on the floor Smiley. Also, just noticed, If I open the pcs/pac and try to preview it, it will give me that error, then I close out the preview window and go to file->close, so it will close out the file without closing BB. Then I re-open that same file, and everything is fine. I can expand/preview and everything.
