Let's try to stay nice to each other here people. If Dantarion and BlackJax96 have anything to discuss with one another, they can do so via PM. Also, this thread isn't a place to bash people, so just move to a different subject, or I'll start warning people.
The common2, 3 and 5 files always take priority, as for the common and common4 files, they are probably used for character transformation sequences, as the motion files located in them are of characters who transform by unloading and loading different motion files (except Kirby, of which I don't why he has a duplicate of his motion file in the common files).
Also, common files differ somewhat between NTSC and PAL, but that's a different subject altogether...
I tried Lucario's to hell's end and Mario is to cluttered with zero's to actually find the right lines to change. Also, modules with more than one character are also somewhat impossible to port (because they contain multiple characters with each their own ID).
I've looked into how the Sonic ports work, and to tell you in advance, it will not work that way for Lucario and Mario, or characters with 'complex' article data.
The interpolation used in BBox is different than the interpolation used in Brawl, causing the original animations to display improperly in the previewer. But it's indeed possible to make animations for G&W, as long as you add a few keyframes to make sure the animation doesn't interpolate in disturbing ways.
Actually, that's easy if you have an USBGecko. The code sets the pointer address to 0x80B27AC0, which is R.O.B.'s 'something' location and changes the string from 80914B88 (R.O.B.'s original value) to 80914B5C (Ike's value, which is located at 0x80B27ABC). Though to be fair, most of the characters you just named are characters who contain more then 1 character inside their character module, and therefor also have multiple file location paths, making them somewhat irreplaceable.
Luigiturd is known for stealing stuff, as he already tried to steal Thany's Roy PSA. And on top of that he's currently banned, so why he can even upload hacks to the BrawlVault is beyond me.
