So I wanted to us the new Stage Expantion code. Info here: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=290659 If you scroll all the way down to the bottom you can find Eternal Yoshi's code, thats what I'm trying to use. So I wanted to load Mewtwo2000's new Ganondorf's Tower stage. I put it in my stage folder on my SD card, renamed it to "01" without qotaions of course. Go to Brawl, switch to the Melee section(I think where all the added stages are) load the first one on there, and get nothing. Now maybe I renamed the stage wrong, or didn't load the right stage. I'm not really sure. Anyone who has gotten this to work, can you PLEASE help me? Thank you!
Ok so I have a problem here. why is it always me thats gets problems when I try to make something...? Anyway so I edited Sonic. I edited his "FitSonicEnv04" texture and made it gold, to go with my texture. I also edited "FitSonicEnv02" and "FitSonicEnv03". I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. So when the camera zooms out on Sonic his sphere is the entire Env04 texture. But when I zoom back in, I can see both the regular sphere texture, and the Env04 circle kinda thing. I'm sorry for the bad description of the problem... anyway if anyone has ever had this problem and knows how to fix it, please answer! Thanks you!
Can someone PLEASE help me..so I go to replace these textures in BrawlBox right. Well everything is just dandy. I replace the textures, one of them went transparent, so I switched the texture format. Its all good after that. Well that texture was fine in-game but his body wasn't!? When the camera is zoomed out his body textures are black, but when I zoom in they are as they should be!? WTF kinda problem is this!? I'm talking about his Salo texture or whatever too. The file comes out to 297KB after I replace everything too... Can someone PLEASE help, it makes no sense what so ever...
So I know it is possible to make certain parts of the model of a character by making the texture transparent than in brawl Box change the texture type to either C18 or RGB5A3. But I tried one of my hacks in game and the parts I tried to make transparent just showed up black, but in Brawl Box they showed up transparnet, even when I used both types if textures So I was hoping someone could help shed some light on this for me. I remember back from the days with ASH there were +1 textures which could be made transparent, like link's sword. So I used to the type of texture as that but still showed up black in-game D:
Hello peeps! I'm finally posting my CSP thread. Alright now ALL of these CSP's posted here ARE MINE some people may have used the same images but these are all my CSP's I just want to make that clear. And I DO NOT do entire CSS edits like replacing the entire character's slots and CSS Icon. Now that the boring crap is outta the way lets see some images!
Please give me some feedback on this. I would really like to know how you all have yours so organized, I could use a lot of help on this. I guess this is the temporary setup for now. Well enjoy!
Well I have been using a few .rels. I wanted to replace Rumble Falls with Congo Jungle stage that was originally over Temple, now I had the Hyrule Castle 64 hack over that would that be a problem? So when I try to load the stage it just freezes... I have the same deal with the Tourian Gate stage, I wanted to replace Norfair with that, but the stage was originally off New Pork City I think. But as for that I am probably just going to use the Abadon stage over that and put Tourian Gate over Brinstar if I can without it freezing... Can anyone help me with this?
Yeah more problems people.... so I was trying to use my SD card today, I played 1 backup today and the homebrew channel displayed all my app's properly, it took a little while but it did. So my SD card is a 2GB sandisk which the write protection button broke off of and I had to put tape over it So I wanted to play my backup today but NONE of the files in my SD card are read, I need to install a wad forwarder but I probably can't. ANYONE HAVE SOME HELP!?!?!?
So I had some questions about sonic...I know someone made a classic sonic vertex hack which I kind of need to use and someone made a no pink layer sonic. I kinda needed to combine them to make a chubby sonic with no pink layer so I could get him cel-shaded. I wanted to just make a combined hack but I can't get DDVB2.0 working and you can't use edited .pac's as of now. So if the pink layer is like a polygon or something I can just remove that with the automatic polygon deleter because I need to dispose of his shoe buckles. ANY help would be GREATLY aprreciated!
Hi, I was going to make a texture and I wanted to know if I can get 's "Scouter" imported onto ZeroSuitSamu's head and than possibly have it vertexed to make it look like glasses and a comnuicator. Is this possible!?!?!? And if it is can someone kindly link me to where I can find out how or tell me Thanks in advance!
I wasn't sure if this would go in PSA help or not but I have replaced mario's fireball with the capsule and the capsule looks kinda big and was wondering how can I resize it in BrawlBox if I can.
So everytime I try to pick these charaters it freezes: Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Toon Link, Ike. Thats all I know of. Can someone PLEASE help I hate this and really need help. Here are some things that may help.
It's NOT Brawl+ It's a regular Brawl loaded from SD card with: characters, stages, CSP's, PSA's, Music, and some other codes(item swap, Picano's G&W rainbow color code which may be the problem I think anyone know? and so on) Need anything else just ask!

Faster Wolf Here is my first attempt. I call him faster Wolf! Yes I made Wolf faster because he was WAY to slow! I took fox's speeds and put them on Wolf. So bascially Wolf is now as fast as fox if you have this PSA. Oh and here is a bug about it... Somethimes when you roll a big gray pole-like thing shoots out of his hand and goes away after he finshes the roll, nothing major just letting it be known. If anyone can help me with this please tell me!
Well I was reading VILE's guide on how to do this and I couldn't really understand the last few steps so then I opened the common3.pac in SmashBox to just inseret the TGA's and crap of some items in there to see if it would work, no it didn't...It froze my wii at the strap loader. If anyone knows if you can edit the common3.pac through SmashBox that would help a lot! Also I kinda think that VILE's guide was made before SmashBox was ever released so that's why maybe.
Stupid he's giving me trouble!!! Alright so first problem is I colored him black and he comes up red in Brawl!? Does have a gay red layer like Sonic's pink layer? Well this texture was made when I first started texture hacking and I went to be a dumbass and colored almost the whole texture black >_< Like the black part outside of all his clothes and [censored]. So I try him in Brawl and when ever he gets hit he turns orange!? When he charges he turns an orange instead of yellow-ish. If I get a free moment I can take pictures if that can help anyone more. Also I tried coloring another part of which were his legs black and they were black not red. I don't know this is all making me pissed... :ikepalm: if anyone can help please do.
Hi everyone it's Pinutk! So I decided to make my first textured stage today on Flat Zone 2. So I edit all the crap and then I run it through STASH so everything is going ok and then at the end it says the file was to big....does anyone know how I can fix this!? Then I tried it in SmashBox because it helped me before and I couldn't replace the textures like I could with a character!? So I had to save them as .pgn's and replace them with the ones I had for my stage...I am new at stage texturing ok. So I tried it and I chose Flat Zone 2 which either had a forever load or it froze my wii, I'm assuming it froze my Wii cuz I got bored of waiting =P So if anyone can help please do!
