136  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: iwantgames Projects: Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS Samus Update Released on: July 09, 2015, 08:01:36 AM
here are my 2 current WIPs

@Awakening marth - he is further along then in the pic, just haven't gotten around to importing the up-to-date model

@Stage - gonna try to make some custom stages in the future. I started with this one because it was the first stage I ever made. I lacked a ton of model editing experience so I couldn't do much for it then. Ended up being a death by star/screen KO only, so it had to be revamped.

both are pretty much done, just need some more tweaking

just to be sure, u used the import folder option for BB?

if so then you may have to use an older version of BB then. I use BB .75b and importing textures works fine for me.

as an alternative you can try importing the whole folder of textures instead of doing one at a time. not sure if it will still give you the error or not halfway through, haven't tried importing textures with that version of BB. still worth trying
139  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: June 27, 2015, 09:56:35 PM
the original thread I made it for is dead and the stage workshop is dead too, so I thought I post here for feedback. all I got so far were a few compliments and feedback about using WW actuals vertex colors and shaders. so any other feedback that you guys could give me to improve this stages would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't did materials yet and the scene (lighting, fog, etc), hasn't been touched either. Comments on those are not necessary atm.

This doesn't work for PM atm, some changes were made in their latest version

We are working on an update to make it compatible, just need some more time
144  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: iwantgames Projects: Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS Samus Update Released on: June 20, 2015, 01:19:11 PM

Hmm.... i wonder if this could be imported.
what large leader said, not sure if I will import it though. he has long sleeves which tend to look bad in some animations. if I did do it he would have to have short sleeves.

Thanks for your kind words, but I wouldn't really mind. I won't be pissed or anything like that if anyone chooses the wiiu or 3ds model over my custom model, I made it because I wanted to improve my previous work, not to limit someone's creativity. That said, if you have trouble importing her hair, you can create a mix between my model and the smash U model, or import my custom model if you feel like it (I think it is lower poly than the wiiu version, but I can't confirm).

Really looking forward to your custom models.
alright, sounds good. if I do decide to do lucina i'll use the smash u stuff. not that there is anything wrong with yours, I just think that it'll be easier/quicker to use smash 4 stuff cause everything is already fitted to match the body.

I also updated the OP so that it's a bit better to look at. it now includes all of my WIP that I have announced/started. if a Mod is released and is under the WIP section it means that I am currently working on a revamp for it.
145  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: iwantgames Projects: Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS Samus Update Released on: June 15, 2015, 04:41:43 PM
wow, lucina stepped up her clone-status to a whole new level O.o
XD

I'll finish him Friday. I stopped working to play with the new smash DLC, that and I have a test coming up. gonna spend the next few days studying for Thursday. after that i'll finish him up and continue young link.

Aw. Sad Got excited for a sec and thought it was Smash U Lucina.
yeah, verts already custom made a lucina model. He put a lot of work into it, and for me to import the sm4sh one would be rude. Don't want to see all that hard work go to waste, so I decided to do marth instead. Also, she wouldn't have been as quick to do as marth, all that hair is making her poly count high. I would also have to do rigging magic for the hair.

I swear I see a nip slip.
lol, glad someone else saw that. thought I was crazy cause nobody else said anything until now.
147  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: iwantgames Projects: Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS Samus Update Released on: June 12, 2015, 11:59:04 PM
yesterday I found a quick project to do, i doubt anyone care about this import but it was the only thing I could think of that wouldn't take too long. that being said it's a marth alt and I just need to finish touching up the rig which I will do tomorrow. Since everything is from smash u more than half of the work was done for me, so it's a complete import(recolors, expressions, fs eyes, etc)

148  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: iwantgames Projects: Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS Samus Update Released on: June 09, 2015, 04:00:02 PM
Ok then. Its done and the only things missing are stock icons, but there isn't much of a difference in helmet design between SM and Other M versions, so, i guess its ok.
thanks for taking the time to do those.

I forgot to mention that I am taking summer classes. so progress will be slow, will probably try to do some small vertex hacks to keep you guys occupied while I work on my major projects.

also, I touched up some of the areas KJP mentioned for samus. feet looks much better and i believe i stopped on the hands. i haven't done the waist yet because it needs to be re-rigged completely, along with parts of the legs. So that update won't come for awhile. i'll probably add some more recolors with the final update just because.
149  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: iwantgames Projects: Super Smash Bros Wii U/3DS Samus Update Released on: June 08, 2015, 11:45:15 PM
I don't mean to pry, but any updates on Roy?
what taiko said

Since there still are no CSPs and stuff for Samus, i made few (by that i mean i made one of each kind of icon for every recolor made for SSB4 model) that could be used until better ones are made:

"Renders" (not sure how else i should call them) are here just because they are included in old pack. Should have made them bigger though.
I can freely add those to images section of the entry, right?
sure

It's the new costume only or an update to the whole Sm4sh Samus import?
just a new costume.

I've been meaning to drop by and say something about your Smash Wii U Samus import.

I won't note the waist because you've already said you'll be fixing that up.

I looked at the overall rig, and it's very well done. But my only gripes are how the second digit of the fingers is rigged. Rather than having the third digit bend with the second (because Brawl skeletons only have 2 finger digits, as opposed to 3), only the second digit bends. The toes could also have a bit of a better rig and the LKutuN/RKutuN bones could also use a rig (on the Brawl Samus model, those bones moved the top part of the foot that points upward).

Good job so far.
thanks for the critique, i'll make sure to try and fix those things along with the waist.

ENGAGE PARTY MOTHER F___ER
Looks great. BTW, does it includes fixed waist? That is the only issue i have with it. Well, this and that shoulderpads move forward/back too much. Wasn't like this on old model.
first question was answered. As for the shoulder pads, it's a bit larger than the vertex version. That's why it seems to move way more. Both versions are rigged exactly the same.

Also, people with questions about updated mods. Please visit the link, it'll tell you what was done. after updating the model to the sma4sh one, I decided that it'd be best if I did a update text as well. if I update all you have do is visit the link I posted and read the updated description. Today's Update text for example was:

Code: (Update Text)
[5/27/2015] - Party Suit Acquired

Now Includes:

 - 3DS Commercial Samus recolor
