Here's one:
If Zero does not hit a character with his lightning dash move, he will become invisible. I use just the wiimote and that move is left/right 1

I should have tested that... I will fix that guranteed.

Aha, if I change the name it'll be to make it sound more inclusive of the people's whose work I've complied and included. I'd have to use the site's name to achieve something like that. Ee'll see further down.



And for those who care, as I said above I've modified Dr Mario.

I used a combination of his Melee formulas versus Mario's and his Smash Wii U formulas vs Mario to make a proper "Brawl" feeling Dr Mario. Hope people enjoy.

I will be putting in some alt skins once I map out the css and see how much more cosmetic data I can add beire a limit is reached. Alt skins will be added to our 4th page map pack release. Not for this release.

Why doesn't the 4GB and 8GB versions work in Dolphin? Shocked
Is it Dolphin's fault because you can't put SD cards above 2 GB? Or because it can't read more than 1 RSBE folders?

I don't know :/ I just know there's something unique about Dolphin according to other people. My build win't just work without something being modified.

Just wanted to pop back in and let you know I've been binging on this thing, and it seems to be working perfectly! No crashes at all! Thank you for your work on the pack, Nebulon!

Smiley how do you like everyone? Any character that need edits? I want them all to feel just as selectable.


So I made changes to Knuckles, Grayfox, Bomber-man, Knuckle Joe to make them more playable, and I did some heavy editing to Dr. Mario since I felt putting in proiect M's was wrong. Instead, I made a Brawl Dr. mario. I looked up what's supposed to make Dr different from normal Mario. But the problem is that his stats are based in contrasting from Melee Mario. But i use Brawl Mario. So I had to apply a lot of different percentages and formulas to make Dr. mario feel like a proper Brawl version by lookin at the intention of his differences in Melee. So essentially he's nerfd big time, but he gained a few things too he sidn't have before.

It's just missing. When I use the final smash he just does his neutral b.

It needs a final smash file. I'm gonna add it in in the updated version we'll be releasing on Monday.

well, I love this project because its the biggest build around SSBB hacking in general, not even pm has this many features and variety, and the best part; its made by things made by EVERYONE so it can really be called "brawl4all"
btw, I use the 2GB version; which files of the folder do I have to download?

I actually considered changing the name to "Kitty Corp Heroes" or "Brawl Vault Unleashed" or something recently since I was concerned with being viewed as the creator of the content, rather than sort of the "Organizer" which is essentially what I am. We'll see. When I read youtube comments that imply that I made these I feel a little dissapointed that I haven't made the distinction clear enough that there are people who work really hard to make these mods, and I'm not. I'll figure something out.

But anyway, to answer your question, everything up until app. Within the app folder all you'll see RSBE, RSB2, RSB3. Just download RSBE and everything in it.

So essentiall everything up until the app folder. Just RSBe.

You could make the model face bith ways by having two models. If it's moving one way, the other will be transparent. Vice versa. Though I wouldn't know how to code that...

Or remove all reverse directions in the coding... Unless that's hardcoded somewhere..

Nebulon you should divide the pack in other parts like:
Part 1:Characters & BrawlEX
Part 2:Char portraits and CSS
Part 3:Stages & Extra.

You should do that.

It'll be Everything you need for 2GB to work.

Then the 2nd part will be RSB2.

Then RSB3.

That way 2GB users don't have to download data they aren't going to use. The necessary GCTs will still be separate.


Doing it the way you proposed would require people to go into each RSB folder and put in the pieces I separated. It might confuse some users who aren't familiar with what goes where. Putting RSB folders in the app folder should be simple enough Smiley But thank you for your suggestion.

Hi Nebulon.
I really admire the work you've done with your brawlex how everything is organized and offical but I'd like to ask a question about your method.

I've already read your tutorial about making your clones have their own GFX. I followed it applied it to some of mine however I'm still having some graphical hiccups. Specifically with Viewtiful Joe and Geno clones of Captain Falcon and ROB respectively. I've noticed that their moves that use brresless EFLS conflict with each other and the first chacter loaded has the dominant GFX (Example If Joe ad Falcon are in the same fight sometimes for his up b I see the proper GFX but captain falcon's fire moves have joe's GFX and vice versa.) And for Geeno no matter what I replace the GFX with the beam texture does not work and to make things worse his up b and neutral b GFX overlap with other rob clones

I'm wondering if there's an extra step I'm missing or something specific to these characters. I thought I did everything right... Should I rename the EFLS files?


Honestly, that tut is outdated. You don't actually need to use an enemy ef_file. Instead, just name the ef_file the proper enemy name according to the programming (Check this out for the proper spelling of the names, since some of them are the Japanese names: http://opensa.dantarion.com/wiki/Effect.pac_IDs) and change the IDs in the .pac of the GFX to match the hex (or Dec if using BB) ID of the ef_file you decide to use.

As for what you're talking about, I had this problem when working with Dante and Ike. The key is to rename the EFLS entries. Say the name is something like "Charizardfireball". You'll notice that it won't use a model (model is set to "false") so it won't have a model number either. The game knows what effect to load based on the name "Charizardfireball". So what you'd do here is go into VJoe's Ef_file, and rename the EFLS entries (I'd just add a V at the end of them or something) and then find the actual effects in the .pac file using a BB. I believe most (if not all) of the time the effects associated with names will be in the "REFT" section. Change the name of the effect to whatever you named the entry in the EFLS, and you SHOULD be good.

It's been a while since I did that myself as those aren't normally used.

Since I'm sort of treating this like a Beta, I'll be reuploading it again once we apply all of our fixes. I'm aiming for the weekend, but we'll see what happens. I've fixed 5 characters in total, and did some cosmetic tweaks so far. I also added in some missing files and I released a patch earlier. Brawlboy's tackling some things too, so I don't think it'll take TOO long to do Smiley

And due to popular demand, I'll be releasing the build in smaller chunks so that people's downloads don't take as long. I already know how I'm going to split it up. Hopefully it makes sense to everyone.

Sorry to have to do that everyone, but... well I guess this is just the nature of releasing big projects.

Sort of like a Day 1 patch, ya know? (Except a few days later). Anyway, thanks for beliving in us.

I figured out how to get to page set 3 on a wiimote and nunchuck (a and -) but now i cant get back to page set 1 or 2

It should be the same button combo.

Set 1 and 2 go back and forth on GC controller with X+Y. Set 3 is separate. You press Z+L and it'll take you to set 3, and pressing Z+L again can take you back to Set 1 or 2 depending on which set you pressed Z+L on.

I'm not quite sure how this translates to Wiimote... but that is how the coding works. I hope this points you in the right direction. I know it was hard to get the codes working occasionally with some of our concept inputs. Try holding - and then press A instead of timing both.

The all star stage on page set one has walls outside the screen, it is impossible to die or kill in it

Also do you know how to get to page set 2 on a wiimote?

All-Star stage is intended to be a Stamina stage. I couldn't find one that had a death boundary but I wanted the stage. If such a variant exists, I'll add it in.

And I honestly don't know... :/ I never play with Wiimotes....


For everyone else
I patched a few things and added a txt file for people to read in the DL Link. Charizard's cosmetics are accurate now, Olimar dosn't freeze and cosmetics are accurate, a few song fixes, and a Bomberman tweak.

This way the game won't crash and all of the cosmetics will be accurate.

Tweaks for Sephiroth, Knuckle Joe, and GrayFox will come soon, but will just be .pac files (And aren't necessary, they're just aspects of them I'd like to change for more enjoyable play that I didn't get to)

When all is said and done I'll just upload the fixed version of the build on the weekend. If you install the patches correctly you won't need to do that though. Sorry everyone!
