And he spawns just fine. Problem is, he so much as twitches (I press a button, try to move him around etc.) The game freezes with that annoying beep of death.
Apparently, defragging the card fixed everything. I'm going to go a little off topic, but I use the .bnk method to use sfx mods with Gecko. Would you happen to know the file size limit for .bnk's?
I think BRSTMs is the only exception to the filesize rule. Instead of it being relative to the default BRSTM, it'll be relative to how much space there is on your SD Card. Now that I've said that, I need to ask you this...
1). How big is your SD Card? Gecko only reads 2 Gigs of Data. 2). How much space is left in your SD Card?
I am using a 2 gig SD card and I currently have 631 mb of free space.
I've noticed that some of my custom music plays fine on Riivolution, but on Gecko, some of the tracks turn into a bunch of static noise. I've heard there's a file size limit, but Idk what it is.
The game should freeze just before a character appears, right? For example, if the game freezes just before a hack of, say Link, appears, then that Link hack is corrupted. That's how I figured it out.
Sometimes, when I'm playing a normal brawl on Riivolution, the match freezes mid-countdown like "3-2-(beep of death) It can happen every few hours or every other match. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
You mean like the FitMario.pac or etc.? Those contain the attacks for your character, like one FitLucario.pac that makes his Aura Sphere black and super powerful, or one that gives Pikachu's taunt the ability to summon CDs.
Those are essential for new movesets, pretty much like the FitMarioMotionEtc.pac (and so on), which is in charge of animations and movements.
Unless you're talking about any of the other .pac files, like FitMario00.pac. Those are less essential than the FitMario00.pcs files. All you really need are those. .pac are needed for everything else.
Yeah, I mean the FitMario00's. I've noticed it's essential for transformers but some other characters have them anyways.
