i got 36 characters to work (37th was havin a problem) and am gunna release it once i get the final icons replaced. just in case people want a big ol' pack for any reason

I got 37 characters workin, but here's some freezes. i've doublechecked all the files and idk why these dont work, some of you might no sobme obvious reason or something.
 
lightning (final fantasy)-pikachu-soft freeze at stage selection (she's got the standard fit-pac, a couple of costumes and an animation file. I added the rest of pikachu's files to her directory)
sora(Kingdom hearts)-MARTH- Crash when selecting the stage
dante (DMC)-ike-instant crash when selecting

all the module files are up to date, with the correct character and hex

Wild card character does not work on the updated search fields. aka D*r*mario will nor return dr mario or doctor mario, but seems to search for "d*r*mario" precisely.

Thanks to PW and Sammi Husky. Finally got your tools and codes workin for myself. Now I plan to max out the roster soon. Someone should start a collab thread and have everyone vote on the best PSAs to put together.

I assume, it's a difficult process to override the other slots which bosses and other data occupies with other hex values.

Oh hey, I'm back. kinda.

looks like A, there's not long before things will be developed for the wiiu smash instead of brawl. and B, theres some cool stuff like model importing that's now working.


anyways, had some time on my hand, so I changed dr. mario's psa to have modified/balanced damage. (the original doctor's psa had just about the same damage as mario's attacks unless they were very noticeable, like the doc punch and his Nair)

so here's whats in it.
i compared docs damages for attacks, to melee mario's
say doc does 8 damages and mario does 6

so when mario gets balanced in brawl to like 4 damage, keeping 8 damage is unbalanced, so it's still not the original, but it would be like what doc's modifications to brawl mario would be.

the animations aren't edited yet though, primarily his slow backflip, but whatever.

idk if it helps but I got every character organized, imported into 3ds 9 along with all their weapons and vertex sets (and most major polys have their vert sets applied to their morpher modifiers). it's good for people having trouble importing characters and vertex sets or those who want to edit using incompatible to brawlscript max versions (and can get someone to help export).

it doesn't help with double patching much though

but that's melee mario, and an interpretation of it no less. unless melee can provide readable data in its files i'm sticking to mostly recording examination. and unless project m's changes prove to be close to the doc, i'll just work from scratch to make him just right
