Take the pictures you want to take in brawl (pause + z button), be sure to save the pictures on the SD card.
I don't know if this is just for me or not; I'm sure other people have the same problem:
Problem: When trying to save a snapshot onto the SD card, it will act as if there is no SD plugged in, not letting you click on the "Save to SD" button.
Fix: Save it the Wii, and then go into NORMAL Brawl(NOT hacked Brawl), and Move or Copy the files onto the SD from there.
Awesome I'll have to use imgur for my mods until I run out of room. Question, though; you have in the picture that "Dropbox is preferred" for uploading files; are OneDrive and Google Drive also allowed, in addition to Dropbox and MediaFire, or no?
I did that and it did not work. I also plugged it in and looked in it on a windows 7 computer and the same thing happened. My computer is windows 8. Does windows 8 have anything to do with this?!?!?!
On my Windows 8, occasionally it will load the folder before loading everything in the folder, and it might even look blank for minutes, saying "Folder is empty"(Paraphrase) before the green progress bar loads fully, and everything's there. Especially if you have large files, or have not rebooted your computer in a while, or have recently put files there that aren't small filesizes, will it do this. So try having it be in the folder and just waiting for a few minutes for it to load; you can do something else while waiting; it won't effect it.
I had a bug like this on my Windows XP; it would, after a period of time, act as if the folders no longer existed. All I did to fix it was just remove the SD card and put it back, so you could try that and see if it works.
UPDATE: Textures are working but not in the right places. FitMario01 is in FitMario05s place, FitLuigi01 is in FitLuigi03s place, and FitPeach01 is in FitPeach02s place. REALLY CONFUSED NOW ANYONE PLEASE HELP????
If by thism you're talking that the numbers of the models doesn't match up with the order of the pictures, this is normal. You just have to figure out which is which; you can test this by just simply making a .png without alpha of a number, naming it the number of the file number, and testing in-game which ones would be under which picture.
I was told to put it in there. I'll try out your way though.
I don't know who told you that; I got the Riivolution from the official webpage and what I wrote above was my directory O_O So that may be your problem; anyway, it doesn't hurt to try something(usually).
There could be lots of reasons to this; be specific; no one can help you if you don't give any information about the problem; that would be like asking a dentist to fill you cavities if he doesn't know where they are.
Did you try following my Vertex Editing Tutorial here( http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=68657 ) and instead of translating the vertex points, to press the 's' button and scale the whole model?
Simple; before importing the textures, take each one and copy it, and make the copies one half the size, until you get to 32x32; Then, import a group size of them(e.g. Import 5 different textures that you just half-sized), save it as another file, and compare that with the original; keep doing this, until you get to the filesize that is about the same as the original Brawl file(not 50%, but under 100%); then you could try it.
Another option(If you have an Autodesk application, like 3DS Max or Maya) would be to export the model to the application, lower the polycount(Probably a button for it), and then reimport, doing a similar process as with the textures.
You could try my tutorial here on vertex editing(Tested, and works; first spoiler), and when you move the vertices, just move the vertices to his face to remove the nose, but still keep the texture and the no-random-gap-where-an-object-is-gone. http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=68657
Note that Fraps isn't free; the free version stops recording after 30 seconds and puts a small watermark at the top of the video. But the full version is only $37. Pretty cheap in terms of software.
Another option is Debut Video Capture Software, which has like no max time limit for the free version(Non-Commercial Use ONLY), but the free version is also limited to only 32 FPS. Although, it does allow you to take videos from your webcame, or from your monitor, regardless of what. It takes new videos every time you change programs, btw, which is awesome, cause then you can use that to not have to edit out the part of the video where you scroll across the desktop to open the program!
I've visited this section of the fourm way to much Anyway, Im editing vertex points using SharpHackz200's method (http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=49133.0) and anytime I click "Create 3DS File" on DDVB I get a pop up saying "Errorjava.io.EOFException'" ;~; Honestly I dont know what to do, Im pretty sure I have java (unless i need to re-install it, i dont quite remember if the installation went through) and I want to get the fourm's word before installing java since im using a mobile hotspot, and installation would take some time (and data). So yeah. Any help would be appreciated.
Im using Windows 8.1 if it helps. >u>
You could try my vertice hacking tutorial below(First spoiler), which is an easier way to do his technique by implementing my own tested techniques, as well as using his tutorial as a base, and filling in some of the important info that he forgot to say.
I have both. i didn't realize what the Pcs flies were for a second. It still wont load any other texture changes for multiple characters unless its in the first00 spot
Post Merge: July 02, 2014, 01:29:36 PMI have the patch code and the names are right but it still wont load textures for certain characters
The .pcs is a compressed .pac; unless it's a single file(When a modder converts it to only needing one), you need both to have the exact same textures in them to have the textures show up. Previewing the model in both the .pac and the .pcs can help in showing whether or not the textures are properly there.
