The reason that music has static or a new song randomly plays is because you have overwrote on an old brstm and they have fused together. Best thing to do is to make sure the song you are putting in the folder is not already in the folder (eg: A01.BRSTM is already in the folder so you can't put another A01.BRSTM in that same folder.) Delete the old one and put your new song in the folder. Just do not overwrite the songs or you'll technically be fusing them together (in brawl hack retrospective)

This is not true cause of a few things.
1. The files get overwritten not fused.
2. I overwrite every single song i have every time and i have yet had this nor have i ever met someone who had this.
3. Overwriting a file is just saying: i remove this bit and place this bit and that for every bit. So it's not fused in any way.

Its happen to me several times. I stopped overwritting the brstms and the random music stop playing. I assumed this over experience not knowledge.

Yes, you can use texture through a usb but only on Riivolution so far. It explains folder setup (where your hacks go) and you can copy and paste the XML files to a notepad and put them in there proper folders. So far my only problem is that I can't figure out how to get my CSS or movie to show.

Ok, I followed that guide and I understand how Riivolution works now. The only problem I have is that the common5.pac file isn't showing my custom screen shots and the strapen.pac isn't showing either. Could you explain or point me in the way of some help please?  [/color]

Is common 5 named common5_en.pac

Yes. I've tried it both ways, _en and no _en, I even tried the custon hack #1 and still no dice.

Did any of those files get corrupted?  Also, check to see if the files are compressed or not.

How do you uncompress common5_en? can't I just use a selcharacter_en?

Of course, while common5.pac isn't compressed, it does contain compressed archives.  Namely, sc_selcharacter_en, sc_selcharacter2_en, and sc_selmap_en.

Also, don't forget to include the _en for those files.  Lastly, check you XML document, and set up your ssbb folder so that its contents are stored in the proper folders.
