Ike's final smash is amazing!! I'm excited to see how all these turn out. Lucario, Peach, and Sonic have quite a lot of votes, and although I'm looking forward to Sonic's, I wish there was for love for Ness  Tongue

I'm leaving the poll on till the end of the day. From there, I can pick who I'll do next. But it'll probably take a bit longer cause I just got KH3D. And that will eat up a bit of my time... lol

The camera shots are done in PSA. Can't open a final.pac in PSA can you?

I'm really loving these cinematic Final Smashes; it adds that extra "oomph" that most of them seem to be lacking.

Normally, I would vote for Sonic (since I main him quite a bit), but I voted Peach because I'm interested in seeing what you might be able to do with her FS (I'm too stupid to try anything myself... yet). I say "might" because... well... Peach's FS isn't exactly as action-y as most of the other FSes in the game, and I don't think it really lends itself all that well to a cinematic makeover (she just dances and summons a bunch of peaches. I'd hardly call that much to work with). That said, I figure it'd be a good challenge for someone who has far more experience at these things than I do (like I said: I'm stupid when it comes to animations and such).

Actually, these animations have been ported from their victory taunts. If you look at the PSAs I've worked on, my animations are like... idk but it's not in a professional level.

That Great Aether looks beautiful! Fantastic job on the spinning camera. I'm assuming you had to continuously insert new camera close-ups for each rotation?

And I'd love to see what you can do with Pokemon Trainer.

Yes I did have to have sequential Camera closeups for the rotation. About 4 or 5 of them. And I'll add Pokemon Trainer to the List. Although that could be a hassle seeing I'd have to animate each of his Pokemon... The Camera work shouldn't be too much though.

i cant think of what other codes are messing with it.
here what i have on these days:
one hit kills - subspace
file patch code(of course)
no huds
no tags.......

EDIT: i am the stupid. i had forgotten i happened across a 'no closeups' code a LONG time ago and forgot that it may still be on. it looks like it technically is camera hack related.

ill message back later when i get the chance to let yall know if it was the problem.
(i dont remember having the code on BEFORE getting these hacks, but it most likely the case)

Well now... The only thing I can think of would be character related hacks... if not, idk what it is.

the hacks are cool, but it doesnt work right in my game. perhaps you guys could help me figure it out.
when i use these hacks in my game the camera doesnt move at all.(not even the normal zoom in)
anybody got any idea?(note: i ususally have 'unrestricted camer' code turned on, would that be the cause?)

Are you using PAL or JPN Brawl?

But that doesn't change the fact that:

1) These don't take very long
2) It only requires using one event with fairly self explanatory parameters

It doesn't take advanced PSA knowledge at all.  Any beginner at PSA could do this with a little bit of experimentation and a sense of artistic license.  It's not like he's completely remaking the Final Smashes.  It's something simple yet effective and nice.  I could even do a tutorial on the Camera Closeup event used if people really want.

Its cool and all what he's doing, but its not thaaaaaaaaaaat hard to do. And he seems to have accumulated a rather large waiting list. Why don't some of you try to do it yourself?

Yes, that waiting list is getting rather large... lol.  And it'd be nice to have others help out. I don't have ideas for every character, nor the time to do them all. (Although it does not take too long to make one... lol)

I would like to request Ganondorf... and my idea for him is:
Took an intimidating pose (Showing his part of the Triforce), maybe like this:
And then laugh like in his up taunt.
After that, I don't know, maybe he could take the pose to transform in the Beast Ganon but with camera rotations and pausing at different moments of the animation to see the transformation. When he's completely transformed, the camera can be in front of him to show the opponents being paralized or buried, and finally, the camera following the characters being sent to fly and back to Ganon to saw it returning to normal.

Ike should do the prepare yourself line. It'd also flow alot better. Or the line "You're Through!".

I think Bowser should have an intense roar beforehand.

Yes I did. And I don't think "You're through!" could actually be used.

Okay, i've got an idea for Ike.

this is how it should be.

When you press it.

it should be him doing his "i fight for my friends" taunt." zoomed in from the back but angled down. then it activates.

Now as he's flying to his opponent the camera should be following him. when they are in the air, try to make the camera circle around him, like literally circling him. before the final attack is going to commence, zoom in on his face and make him go "HMPH like in his down smash" then as a to finish it, make then make the camera follow as the character is being dragged down to their doom.

Sounds good. I'll see what I can do.
