1471  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes - Next: Ike on: July 30, 2012, 09:47:20 PM
I request Ness, Peach, Zelda, and Falco.

Added Falco to the waiting list.

I want to see one for Meta Knight...-but I want to challenge you...

Make a completely custom, from-scratch animation for Meta Knight that flows perfectly into the cape swing with him saying "Behold my power!"

This'll just add Meta Knight to the waiting list. As for that challenge... let's wait till I do Meta Knight.
1473  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 07:13:14 PM
your works is really awesome and really amazing idea Smiley

i would ask you something do you think they would have a way for your animation of camera are directly in the final.pac for can use others psa wich touch the fit.pac and moveset.pac ?

I used Camera Zoom In Event in PSA for the camera shots. Can't open a final.pac file in PSA Can you?
1474  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 05:34:42 PM
Are you making these for all characters? The ones I'd like to see most would have to be Ness, Lucas, and Ike.

Yes I am, and Ike is next. Ness and Lucas will be added to the waiting list.
1475  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 04:49:26 PM
These are amazing Kuro Neko. To top it off you even did my favorite character first Cheesy . Also if I may put in a request, may I ask for Zelda.

Thank you so much for these, I love them.

I'm doing Ike 1st. And who I'll do after will be based on what people say. Currently in the list now is Wario, Peach, Snake, Sonic, and Lucario.

What happens if you use these in the air?

Still Cinematic.
1476  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 03:31:50 PM
That so?

what did you do with the camera? Because to my understanding the camera is attached to the XRotN. I wasn't aware you could rotate it.

The Camera Closeup Event (1A040500) is what is used.
1st Parameter Changes the Zoom Time.
2nd Parameter is currently Undefined. (I thought it changes which bone it zooms onto which would be nice so I wouldn't have to scale the TransN Bone)
3rd and 4th Parameters change the camera Rotation up and down/left and right Respectively.
1477  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 03:10:51 PM
Lemme know if you're gonna do Ryu and Ken. I think its mad cool the way you do that.

I think I'll hold that till I'm done with every character. But if it takes too long, you can learn how to do it. Anyone good with Animating and PSA can easily do this.
1478  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 03:03:25 PM
I test the Marth one and it's awesome, but the trouble is that the opponents have more chances to evade the final smash... There is a way to fix this?
Anyway, the animations are good!.

You could go into PSA and alter the Time Manipulation Event. The 1st Parameter alters how much time slows down, and the 2nd one alters how long time will slow down for. I did my best to make sure the Final Smash works the same way.
1479  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 02:59:48 PM
Hm... nice. How exactly are you doing this though? Is it movie editing with a PC program, or is this actually happening in game?

That said... Ken and Ryu deserve a cinematic FS Awesome Face

It happens in Game.

I know how to import/export stuff inside a fighter.pac with BB but I don't know where all the files I need to switch around are (sorry I'm new to hacking), that's why I was asking for them

The only thing I could give you would be the animations. But as for the Events, you need to do it manually.
1480  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 02:53:05 PM
I don't know which files they are :\

Well if you want to port them to other Movesets, you'll have to do it manually with BrawlBox and maybe Smash Attacks.
1481  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 02:48:14 PM
Holymoly bro. Both of those are beautiful. Seeing how no one else is requesting.

can you do one for princess peach? or somehow make it more cinematic? she is mah favorite =3 As if no one could tell.

If you look at the Youtube Comments, more people have asked for Ike. And so I will do him 1st. If more people request Peach then I'll do her after, but Lucario and Wario are also in the lineup.

Can you make one for Sonic and Snake

Same as above.
1482  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cinematic Final Smahes on: July 30, 2012, 02:29:20 PM
Could you just upload the files to import into the pacs and motion files so they're compatible with mods like Brawl- and PM and other movesets?

Can't they do it themselves?
1483  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Cinematic Final Smashes - Pokemon Trainer on: July 30, 2012, 12:13:36 PM
So there has been a few people that have requested the Cinematic Final Smash for all characters after seeing what I did for Marth. Well guess what, I am! I finished working on one for Link (requested by Kienamaru), and I released it as well. I'm working on the other characters now, and I'll post them as they are completed. Feel free to post ideas for I could use them for some characters.

DO NOT ASK FOR PSAs. I'LL BE OPEN FOR REQUESTS AFTER FINISHING THE NORMAL CHARACTERS! NOW SHUT UP! I'VE ANSWERED THIS TOO MANY TIMEZZZ!!! Be patient... Or learn by yourself...

1484  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Brawlbox v0.67 Released - Download again for bugfixes (7/9) on: July 16, 2012, 11:29:27 AM
You should be able to change what animation plays in a Sub Action. I'm making a PSA right now and I'm trying to do that so when he taunts, he can look at the screen regardless of which direction he's facing. Opening the file in PSA does not work anymore....
    1485  Help & Tutorials / A/A Tutorials / How to make Custom PAT0 Animations (Somewhat Outdated) on: June 07, 2012, 12:55:27 AM
If anyone has seen my Bad Apple - Reimu Hack, I've mentioned that I made it using custom PAT0 animations. However, when the new BrawlBox comes out, this tutorial could be out dated (assuming that the PAT0 Editor in the Model Viewer actually works). But I'm doing it anyway! This is a way to make custom PAT0 Animations.

1). Import model and textures. I don't think it matters what you name them.

I'll be using WackaAlpaca's 2D Stage Template for this tutorial.

2). Insert a new Texture Pattern (PAT0) where the model is.

You may name it whatever you want.

3). Create new Entry in PAT0.

4). Look at the model you'll be applying your PAT0 to and check it's materials.

5). Copy the name of it and paste it onto where it says "NewNode"

6). Change the texture index on the 2nd branch if the textures you imported are not on TextureData[0]. In our case it is, so we can skip this step.

7). Rename NewTexture to the texture of your 1st texture. (If that made any sense... lol)

If you have BrawlBox V0.67b, make sure you enable palettes on the PAT0, and change the palette section as well.

Because this is the 1st frame of our animation, the key will be left at 0

8 ). Right click on Texture0 (Or wherever your textures are placed), and create a New Entry

9). On that new entry, rename it to the name of the 2nd texture that'll be used. Also change the key while you're at it.

(If you don't know already) The Key is the frame when the texture changes. In this case I set it to 5. On the frame after the 5th one, the texture will change.

10). If desired, repeat step 9 for the 3rd frame, 4th frame and so forth. You may reuse textures you've already used. Take note the key must be higher than 5 since we set it to that. If we were to continue this animation (which I won't), I would set the 3rd frame to 10. And the 4th to 15. For this animation, I would change the textures in increments of 5 frames. But you can choose your own (Maybe even change it up during the animation).

11). When you're done with making your frames. Go back to the PAT0, and change the FrameCount and Enable loop (if desired).

For this animation, I'll have a kitty I drew run.

You should be done at that point. You can look at it in the model viewer, and look at your animation at work.

    Notes:

    - If you find the file size is too big, simply shrink the images to half the size of the original. That should lower the file size by alot. You'll easily notice the difference.

    - Depending on what you're using the animation for, your textures might need to be a certain format. Experiment which ones work.

    - It has come to my attention that Palettes will matter. I found that out as I was working on animations for a Stage I worked on. You'll most likely have to name the palette section the same as the textures. People with BrawlBox V0.67b will be able to enable Palettes, but then you'll have to switch back to v0.66b and replace the textures again to fix up the colors if there are any.

Alright I'm done here. Hope this helps. Thank you and good night!
