On Brawlbox there's a Tool button on the top, press it and go to Vertices Editor. Select your vertices and on the bottom left it should say average and press it. It doesn't delete them, but it makes them very small to see.
I was wondering how do I add combos to PSA's? I am trying to give Link's up b (up special) a similar effect to Toon Links. How do I do that, the PSA's I have doesn't allow me to do that.
Ok; so, even though you need a different common5.pac in your system folder(Since right now, it's just the default, and so if you change it, then you can know when it's working), that isn't the problem. So, hunch B: What are your Config Options set to in Gecko? Would you mind uploading a screenshot?
My Common5 pac is named common5_en.pac. If the CSS screen is the issue and not the characters moves, then check that the sc_selcharacter.pac matches.
My is called sc_selcharacter_en.pac, yours should be sc_selcharacter.pac. Remove "_en" from sc_selcharacter_en.pac, but not from common5. If you did alter the CSS screen and it doesn't work, try adding _en to the common5 file.
Materials primarily do the following things(I may have missed some, but this is like the general premise):
1) They connect which texture goes to which polygon on the model 2) They affect how the model is culled(Culling is which side of the model is invisible; e.g. If you had a flat plane and made one side culled, the side that you culled would be similar to one of those one-way window-mirror things used in police interrogation rooms) 3) They (somewhat) affect the lighting and colors of the model(The shaders and vertex colors do the rest, though) 4) They set what Alpha settings the model part using that material uses(For example, if you're using an eye texture that has Alpha in it, you'd have to edit the material to be XLU to allow the eye polygon to be able to use Alpha in-game) 5) They can edit things like billboard nodes(Making the texture always face the camera, no matter what camera angle), metallic effects(e.g. If you pick up a metal box, you'll see that when you rotate the camera, the texture will change where it is on the model), and other things like that
And to get rid of a model, say MK's cape? That would be done trough the material?
i'm uploading a vid rn everything is in the right place
Ok, but is named RSBP or RSBE? I had that problem when I first began using codes.
EDIT: Do you have Riivolution installed? It's easier (in my opinion) to use hacks for brawl with Riivolution. If you're just trying to load hacks (etc, Pf/fighter/Link), then Riivolution is easier. Let me know if this is the case, because I can help you if it is.
The "with ASRL" version contains alternate stages, which can be loaded by holding L, R, Z, or (on Battlefield) X. (These alternate stages don't work with Riivolution, so the Riivolution menu will give you the option to use just the default stages or just the omega stages.) The "no ASRL" version does not contain any alternate stages.
The "with ASRL" version uses versions of Castle Siege and Lylat Cruise ported to STGFINAL that do not include the phase shifts. The "no ASRL" version contains the regular versions.
The "with ASRL" version includes Target Smash, and has Venom as an alternate to Corneria. The "no ASRL" version gives Venom its own icon and excludes Target Smash.
Classic Expansion Pack 7.0s - August 30, 2015 - for vBrawl
Classic Expansion Pack 7.0.exe (Gecko + Brawl. From Mediafire; 188 MB download / 265 MB when uncompressed) The download is also a 7-zip archive - you should be able to use 7-zip or WinRAR to extract it without opening it as an executable.
Updates since 6.0s:
The pack now uses sc_selmap.pac instead of common5.pac. If you want to use common5.pac, just replace the sc_selmap_en inside of it with this sc_selmap.pac.
All of the stages have been rearranged
Project M / Brawl- / fangame stages have been removed, to make room for 12 SSB4 stages by DSX8, Taigiry, and others
The alternate Stage Loader is now included, so every stage (except Flat Zone 2) can have an alternate by holding L+A. Battlefield and Final Destination have two alternates (R+A is the other.) See the documentation for details.
I think that if you use BrawlEx or Project M, you get extra characters with it. BrawlEx has more colors to choose from, 10 per character. I recommend Brawlex however. I can't use it being PAL and all, but if you are in the US you should be fine
You tried to help I think you should take the thank you. This has gotten me thinking about codes now. I wonder if I have the same issue, or if it's something else for me when I try to load cheat codes.
I heard somewhere that there is a way to use cheat codes on Riivolution. I mean the same kind people normally use with gecko, like I used to.
