I know I saw TCLL talking about how he made his pikachu hack's texture have a sort of neon glow in certain areas by editing the normals. anyone wanna tell me how to do that?  Im srs here

The game lost in shadow for the wii was pretty fun, I  mulled over this idea for a long time and figured that marth would be a good psa for him. He already looks a lot like the "Boy"  in the first place, all I need to do is texture him to be completely black. Here's his moveset that I have planned for him ^+^ need ideas for the air A's though.

"Boy" From Lost In Shadow Moveset

First A: a simple, horizontal sweep of the sword from left to right.
Damage: 6% Knockback: 25 Knockback Growth: 4 Direction: Standard straight forward. Flag: Cutting

Second A: A quick horizontal sweep from right to left.
Damage: 7% Knockback: 30 Knockback Growth 4 Direction: straight forward. Flag: Cutting

Third A: A wide swing forward vertically from top to bottom.
Damage: 10% Knockback: 40 Knockback Growth 4 Direction slight angle downward Flag: Light

Side A:  a large upward swing from bottom to top.
Damage: 14% Knockback: 40 Knockback Growth 4 Direction: upward at a slight angle Flag: Cutting

Down A: He crouches down and stabs the opponents toes
Damage: 10% Knockback: 45 Knockback growth 5 direction: tripping angle. Trip Percentage: 40%  Flag: cutting

Up A: He sends his sword upward hoping to stab his opponent. (I'll just use Marth's up smash attack animation for it)
Damage: 12% Knockback: 50 Knockback Growth 4 Direction: Straight up. Flag: cutting

Up Smash: Links up smash animation with no real changes. His sword shoots out sparkles of light that do damage if they hit.
Sword swings: 7% damage each with a knockback of 50 and a cutting flag. If the third swing hits he’ll do an additional attack in which he stabs upward and shoots sparkles from his sword. These sparkles hit three times and do 4% damage with very little knockback and have a light flag.

Side Smash: A stabbing motion in front of him, stuns the enemy if it hits but does minimal damage and knockback to balance this.
Damage: 10% Knockback: 25 Knockback Growth: 4 Direction: straight forward. Flag: Cutting

Down Smash: Sheik’s up smash animation, he fires sparkles of light from his hands. These sparkles hit several times and have decent knockback.
Damage: 15% knockback: 35 Knockback Growth: 5 direction: downward and away, flag: paralyze

Up Special: He transforms into a beam of light and travels upward alongside it. Anyone touching the light gets burned
Damage: 5% Knockback: 60 Knockback Growth: 4 Direction: Straight down Flag: fire

Side Special: He swings his sword forward in a wide arch. If he hits you he sends sparkles of light out that do further damage.
Sword Swing:
Damage: 15% Knockback: 30 Knockback Growth: 5 Direction: Straight down. Flag: cutting
Sparkles:
Number of loops 3
Damage: 4% Knockback: 0 Knockback growth: 4 Direction straight forward Flag: Light

Neutral Special: I’ll just leave this alone since it’s fine as is for this psa

Down Special: He jumps into the air and stabs downward like links down A air.
Damage: 25% Knockback: 50 Knockback growth: 5 direction: straight down Flag: plunge

Final Smash: Light mode: His body is surrounded by a white light and sparkles appear around his feet when he walks. This mode does damage to him over a period of time. He damages people when he walks/runs/waits and all his attacks do additional damage and knockback. All attacks also have the light element as their flag and aura in effect. This light mode lasts until he dies once.

Hollows tutorial, I followed it to the damned letter TWICE, starting from scratch. And it still freezes >_>
Untill I figure out what the f* is going on, Kakashi is stalled for a while.
I will however  be starting two projects in the meantime. If anyone wants, I can release a beta of him with just the smashes and A attacks :l

Captain Basilisx(SMBZ): A colaberation between Me, Zed, and Aniverge, he will be over Yoshi. Credit will be given to Shadowsnake for his dry bones classic model which I'm using as a base for the vertex.

I got some sounds that I want to send to smashclash for his naruto hack.
Unfortunately I cannot extract these sounds, not even as BRSTM or .Wave

Why?

Cause they're stored in a BRSAR@ >_<
In other words
I'm asking for anyone who's coded brawlbox and stuff to figure out how to open these sound files and save them as .wave or even just frickin brstm@

Yupers, I'm gonna start my first true vertex over somebody today. And since anime hacks are ever so popular, I figured I'd give tsunade a try. Mainly cause she has three things.
1: Huge ass boobs XD
2: Her CON Revolution 3 outfit will be cake over peach
3: Only truly difficult part would be her face and hair.

I'm also thinking of doing Sakura on someone. Anyways I'm starting today cause the poll is just for the hell of it ^+^ wish me luck.

The BRSTMS are all properly looped and they are numbered, so you know which story mode cutscene you know the BGM is from~

Okay, here's what I want to do.

1: take Ike's second sword external graphic(both the model and the graphic itself) and port it over to luigi's cape.
2: Replace that second sword graphic with a model from tos2 and get it to work.
3: Adjust True Form Weegee's PSA accordingly to utilise said graphic in battle.

Presenting NaruZeldaMaster (in brawl)

YES finally I came up with a decent idea for my "persona" hack.
He will be balanced, he will be on mario, and he will be INSANE!
I thought, what would make this persona stand out, and I thought I'd combine the three best things I love. Naruto, Legend of Zelda, and Mario Bros!

Moveset: This is the concept of his moveset so far.

A: He will swing his "mastah sword" forward, then up. This attack will cut twice. First Cut 2% Second cut 3% Damage effect: Fire

AA: He will do Ganondorf's Sparta kick. It will stun the opponent and do 4% damage. Effect: Fire

AAA: He'll do a quick spin attack that hits three times, similar to links up B but shorter. It will hit three times. First hit 2% Second hit 2% Third hit: 3%

Up A(Ground): Marths Up Smash, he'll slash at you with his sword hoping to stab you. Then he unleashes a small blast of fire afterward at the tip. Initial Slash: 3% Fire burst: 3%

Side A(Ground): Captain Falcon's side Smash: 5% damage with decent knock-back and Fire Effect

Down A(Ground): Sheiks up smash attack, he will attempt to freeze you with a blast of cold air. It will hit twice, once when he raises his arms and once when he throws them down. First hit: 3% Fire Damage. Second Hit 5% Ice Damage, will hit both sides.

Dash Attack: Luigi's Dash attack, he will do 1% per hit.

U-Smash: Zelda's Up Smash, he will unleash several frost blasts. 3% damage for each hit. Effect Ice

S-Smash: Either ike or marth's side smash with fire or ice damage.

Down Smash: Shieks Down Smash attack. 3% damage per hit with fire damage.

Neutral Special: He will pull out a bomb like link and throw it.

Side Special: he will use his "jutsu" and throw a clone of himself at you. The clone will then explode in a blast of ice energy. If it doesn't hit anyone it'll explode with fire energy and more force.

Up Special: Links Up B

Down Special: Mario's old Forward Smash attack. He will fire blasts from his hand that switch from fire to ice.

Final Smash: WTFBOOOOOM Lazer.
Mario will jump to the top of the screen and fire a gigantic lazer blast from above. Shwoop-de-woop baby!

Alright, I know that you can port stages over to other stages with rell editing. But can the same be true for characters as well?

Like lets say I take ZSS and port her over to say, luigi.
I take a Luigi .rel and a ZSS.rel and swap them out like you would for a stage.
would that work?

Alright, Black Boo's Din vertex is too good for me to pass up. And all the other popular zelda characters have been taken. So as my first "real" PSA I'm doing Din over wolf. I have NO pictures this far because of two reasons.
1: I only have ONE attack working
2: There's not much to talk about picturewise yet anyway.

Din's character in Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages had the ability/duty to control the changing of the seasons. I will be using that as a basis of her psa. Because none of her attacks actually move her in her specials, she will have 15 jumps.  Here is how the psa is set up.

Ground A's: Spring, these attacks will have low power and the flower flag, graphics will hopefully be spring-themed as well if any.
Smash Attacks: Summer, most of these attacks will be fire based and have moderate knockback and damage.
Airials: Fall, most of her arial moves will have strong knockback and pitfall hitboxes. Same for her down air special.
Specials: Winter, Ice based attacks that do little damage but have multiple hits and moderate knockback.

I will post her moveset in the next post.

Okay, I have seen wackalpaka's vid on adding bones to a trophy etc and exporting the model to a playable character. I have an epic idea for a character hack/psa but I need to know a few things first.

1: If the model is from the game and has bones/animations, etc, such as an assist trophy. Would there be any trans N problems if I ported him/her onto someone else who's actually in brawl?

2: If a model has a weapon, and the weapon is a second model seperate from the character. Could I make this model ported over to X character's artical. Like how Fireking made Krystals staff out of Fox's blaster?

3: is it possible to change the hand that an artical, say DedeDe's hammer, is held in, but only temporarilly through psa?
