I know I've been slacking on this, but recently I have had a lot of stuff going on in my life (I am in a play, as well as my old computer busted [caught fire due to graphics card failure] and I got a new one). I am going to be working on a new version of both Kongo Jungle and Melee Battlefield (WITH SHADING!) soon, so, watch out for that. As well as I am planning on several new Melee ripped stages, including ripped version of Yoshi's Story. So, yeah. The play I am in is ending this weekend, so come Monday, I will be able to get back to work on these things. Yeah.

dont know how to apply a texture on a model in 3ds ;_;
it's sad it isn't mdl0 cause there I am pretty pro in!
I am still of the opinion that you should release two versions of the model. One where the model is rigged properly, and another where it is rigged to match Lucario. One for people who want a proper one slot, and another for people who want a proper looking PSA.

All the stages are on hold right now. Temple of Time is half made, I need to resume it soon. About FD's background, sure I'll do it, but not yet. Now I'm too busy with the new world of imports and my unfinished stages. Yeah, I suppose I should loop the background by the way.

Oh, new pictures of OoT Link, he's nearly finished. With him, there could be 3 releases this week, who knows. It may be the only one too, who knows again xD

And that works as a one slot? That'll be on my SD card as soon as it comes out. Very nice work. Can't wait for FoD as well. Since your last pic, I've been dying for it. I am EXTREMELY happy you're looking into the world of Model Imports. You have a tendency to take any new type Smash hacking and show everyone else how to push it to the limit.

Why recolor it? It's using the official Melee textures. If you want, I can rip the textures from Melee for the other colors. No need for artificial recoloring.

Seriously, though, I voted for a Toon Link Revamp, mainly because he is my main.

On the whole Marth issue, doing Marth at some point would be nice, even if SJS only did the main colors from the Brawl Disc, just for sake of having everyone match the art style. You won't see me complaining, though, as these're free, and if SJS stopped right now, I'd've gotten infinitely more than I paid for.

Well, technically, it IS a texture mistake, but it's a mistake of how the texture lays on the model.

And no problem, any time. I want this to look as awesome as possible, so I want to give out any and all helpful criticism I can.

There is a problem with the model that I've noticed since I've ripped it. On the left side of Mewtwo's body, the chest texture is flipped, leading to that black spot showing up on the front of his chest. That black spot is supposed to be on his back, where the neck-tube-thing is. I noticed this when I ripped the model.

Also, the eyes are just the TINIEST BIT too small, leading to people being able to see through his head on the edges of his eyes. This can be solved by making all of his model's materials have two sides to them (so that when one sees through, all they see is the other side of Mewtwo's head, instead of, say, the background to the stage), if you've not done so already. If you have done so, than you've already fixed it.

Third problem: What's with the two little purple blocks on his his feet? That's strange.

FANTASTIC job on the rigging, though. Absolutely fantastic. I cannot wait for this to come out. I am replacing Lucario forever with this.

I assume not, but I figured I would ask this anyway: With the way the bones are in the model you're rigging, do you think this will be able to work as a one-slot over Lucario, still allowing other Lucario models to be used? Just curious.

I'll release the character later today, if nothing unexpected happens. I'll include 3 versions, the normal one, the one with the glasses put, and another with no glasses. I'm not making recolors, that's up to others I suppose.

I'm also updating the material tool, I've thought that some dae imports are time consuming because of needing to change the shadertype thing (lambert and such), or the old flag3. Also, the colors in imports are set to FFFFFF usually, when 808080 works better (gray instead of white).

Another new feature regarding to DAE fixing is loading 2 different shaders while fixing, one for stages, and the other for characters. Basically, copied the lambert and the blinn from my working models, Wes and the boned Ganon Castle. I do that because the standard shader caused a horrible lag when I made my first tests.

Flag 3 is automatically changed for all the materials in the model to fit the shader, and can now be edited manually. If you have like 30 materials where you want to change the flag3 (shadertype), you can change it for all of them with a single click, just like flags 5 and 6, and the type (now cull mode).

Sorry I've been slow on the models you requested of me. Life's been getting in the way. Same reason I've yet to update Kongo Jungle Melee with the new textures/collisions I have.

Anywho, any update on Toon-to-Young Link?
