1-WTF is this???? -why? -what? 2-what is needed to complete this? 3-concrete ideas? 4-how should these things be done?
WTF is this?
this is a project which will probably fail wants to restore the stamina as an important mode in brawl.
why? stamina has a lot of potential i believe, but nobody uses it for nearby anything...
what? i'd like to see a new game, yes, a new game; using a new style, well, actually, i want it to have a more classic style.
what is needed to complete this?
PSA, lots of PSA, every character will need a new PSA...
concrete ideas?
here goes:
-low jumps (double jumping shouldnt be higher than vBrawl's single jump) -standard knockback (idk if stamina already covers this part...) -NO RUNNING -ENHANCED DASHES -new combo-system through PSA -only one taunt? -if only one taunt, use other taunts for more attacks -no taunt? -if no taunt, use all taunts for new attacks -NO FKN TRIPPING!!!!!!!!!!!! -specials should have less lag, since there wont be large distances between enemies. -wall crash should do damage
character specific stuff:
-heavy characters have 3 jumps, but are even lower than other char's jumps -flying char's have 3 jumps, and are the same as regular char's jumps -most important chars to complete first:
from more important to less:
-mario -link -pikachu -ness or lucas -fox -ike -snake -sonic
how should this be done?
-NO RUNNING im pretty sure it is hard coded in all characters, so does anyone have an idea of how removing it?

Running Speed - 8/10 Above average, but not as fast as Sonic, Captain Falcon or Fox. Air Speed - 7/10 A bit above average. Combo Speed - 5/10 Combos are not that fast, and deal an average amount of damage. Priority -8/10 High priority. Jump Height - 5/10 Power - 8/10 Above average power. Weight – Medium

Normal Attack animations
Attack11 (A): Normal Punch * From Snake's normal AAA combo
Attack12 (AA): Short Uppercut (snake's second punch) * animation can be ripped from Ganondorf's forward throw.
Attack13 (AAA): Double Roundhouse (custom animation, not described here) * Just as the names suggest Wesker delivers not one but two roundhouse kicks to his opponnet.
AttackDash (Dash A): Knee Cannon (combo possibility: if press A, u will teleport behind the enmy and shoot) (PSA CODED BUT UNTESTED) * Wesker jumps up mid dash and smashes into the opponnets face with his knee. This can either have little knockback or no knockback.
AttackS3S (Forward Tilt A): No Change
AttackS3S2 (Forward Tilt AA): Cobra Strike *Wesker slams his palm into the opponnet's chest.
AttackHi3 (Up A): windfall *the animation for this can be Falcon's up A animation
AttackLw3 (Down A): Dividing Kick *the animation for this can be Fox's Down Smash animation
AttackS4S (Forward Smash): Mustang Kick (editted sparta kick) * the animation for this can be Ganondorf's forward tilt just with more reach and speed. Notably, there should also be a sleight stun effect, little/medium knockback.
AttackHi4 (Up Smash): Tiger Uppercut * Wesker slams his hand into the opponnet's chin
AttackLw4 (Down Smash): Windmill *the animation for this can be Sheik's Down Smash animation
AttackAirN (Neutral Air A): Double Kick - Ganondorf's aerial neutral A would work well.
AttackAirF (Forward Air A): Phantom Finish - The first strike animation can be Ganondorf's first neutral a kick. Second can be Snakes aerial forward-A. The final strike can be Falcon's aerial Forward-A.
AttackAirB (Back Air A): - Ganondorf's Back Air A
AttackAirHi (Up Air A): No change
AttackAirLw (Down Air A): Phantom Strike - Ganondorf's aerial Down-B
Special Attack animations
Neutral B: Samurai Edge (animation done 100% from scratch and awesome ^^) *the animation for this can be somewhat Fox's neutral b animation * Wesker pulls out his Samurai Edge pistol and fires infront of himself. He then puts it back in his coat. * Wesker can teleport during the end of this move by pushing either A or side d-pad. A sends him into the air. Side d-pad sends him behind the opponnet.
Up B:
Side B: Ghost Butterfly *Wesker slams both of his fist into the opponnet chest.
Down B: Rhino Charge * cut and paste of Marth's or Ike's counter (hacker's choice) but holds his hand infront instead, and stabs his hand into the opponnet as the counter. * damage = can be cut and paste from the original counter. not possible... ideas plz ^^
Air Neutral B: Samurai Edge * Should be like his netural B except it should go at a 90 degree angle. He should be able to teleport at the end of the animation. He should go down and in any oppisite direction he is facing. Depending on the button press. * damage = 4%
Air Up B: Phantom Accension * this attack can use Lucario's Up-B animation,but should also have a hit placed at the end. Either a Punch or Kick.
Air Side B: Phantom Move * This can be somwhat like Ike's aerial-side-B except he punchs at the end.
Air Down B: Phantom Smash * Perhaps you could use MetaKnight's Down B for the animation and effect; although, you can/should change it so it slams into the ground instead.
Grab: Wesker holds the opponnet by the throat.
Throws: Up: Just throws them into the air.
Down: Slams them into the ground like Dk's down throw.
Forward: Wesker shoots them twice then punches them.
Behind: Wesker simply kicks them away.
Final Smash (Ground): Lost In Nightmare
Final Smash (Air): Phantom Dance
So i tried to think of a moveset that fit Wesker. I still can't think of a Up B on the ground for him if anyone has any ideas that would be great. Thanks to anyone who takes up my request.

so, capcom made a lot of games like marvel vs capcom, tekken x street fighter, etc...
nintendo has now an awesome game that is almost 100% customizable, and i think ppl dont think about stamina enough...
imagine, making special PSAs, to make a classic fighting game style with stamina, putting handicap high and damage ratio low already does most of the work, so only the jumps and some other stuff would be really necessary to make a beat'em up brawl...
also, since there are pretty some street fighter hacks, and a LOT of other 3rd party vertextures, why not making special PSAs???
i think it would be possible to make an entire new game just by doing this...
i have ripped the model and animations, and there are a lot that can be used, the most important would be:
run animation walk slow animation enough wait animations trip animation (would need a frame speed modifier since its a pretty long one...) some A attacks probably
important missing animations: jump squat turn walk mid and fast
and some other things i dont remember right now...
i will try to do this project, but i'll need helpers, just so u know, brawl animations cant be ported due to the bone structure (specially cuz he has 2 hip bones)
so, i would like to be redirected to some basic import tutorials, like how to fix run glitches, item grab, grab and throw and all that stuff ^^
and soon we may have a cool blue pirate in brawl (cuz brawl needs a pirate)
dont know who it will be over, as its an original moveset ^^ here goes what ive got in ideas:
AAA: drunken punch, head butt, kick (maybe falls at ground after kick) sideA: roundhouse kick DownA: same as side, but on ground UpA: simultaneous kick and punch upwards SideSmash: throws a bottle, which explodes on impact at ground DownSmash: falls heavily on ground making a small earthquake (DK downB type damage) UpSmash: ¿¿¿???
other stuff:
place dodge has almost instant allow intrrupt, to make counters easier to do most attacks will tend to confuse ur enemy, for example, back dodge will first move like he is going to run forward, and forward dodging may have the same thing...taunts will be attack starters
taunt attacks: down taunt: he'll lay on the ground to rest, if u press A while on the ground, he'll make a spinning kick and stand up. side taunt: he does a weird dance, if u press A he'll do a jumping kick and fall on the ground, if u press A again he'll do the same attack as the down taunt attack. up taunt: ¿¿¿???
it does the beep of doom, can somebody fix it? ive read somewhere it has to do with the animation, but i dont know which one controls the position of the characters...
u ever noticed there are WAAAAAAY too many good guys while there are only 5 bad guys? i want to replace some of the good guys completely with the bad guys...

i'll give u my opinion of what a true hacker should aspire to, feel free to criticise.
a true hacker should do what he likes... a true hacker should only ask for inspiration... a true hacker should never promise anything about a request... xD a true hacker shouldn't take trolls serious... a true hacker should use polls to see what ppl like most, but doesn't have to do always the one that wins... a true hacker should hack for fun... a true hacker shouldn't think he's the best, but shouldn't think that anyone is better than him either... a true hacker should love hacking a true hacker should hack for hiself, and share for others... a true hacker should just be a true hacker... and of course a true hacker should always be thankfull to all the ppl who made the aplications he's using, cuz after all, the only true hackers are them...
