1  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Re: [ NEW: Wart Vertex ]Oh god, Its Volya's Gallery ! on: April 22, 2010, 11:08:53 PM
That vertex-edited Wart is awesome. The only problem on it that I can see is that the "jewel" texture on top of the crown is stretched. Other than that, amazing.
2  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Re: (Vertice Edit, WIP) Young Link on: February 17, 2010, 05:01:56 PM
Why dont you download the already tiny one and work off of that?
Or you gonna work from scratch?

The "already tiny one" is from a code, not a vertice hack.
3  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Re: Zucco's textures~ first up: icy Brinstar on: February 05, 2010, 02:28:16 AM
That texture kinda reminds me of the very first part of the NES version of Metroid...

Well done!

That's exactly what I thought. Retro Brinstar.

Sure, you can use it in Brawl-... just be sure to give me credit for the rapid jab Wink

6  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Link's Rapid Jabs on: December 24, 2009, 08:35:02 PM
From Smash 64 and Melee, Link has regained his rapid jabs!

It works like Pit's jab. Mash the button for rapid jabs, hold or press slower for the normal combo. Each stab is 2% damage close to Link, 1% further outward.

Here is the FitLink.pac, and here is the FitLinkMotionEtc.pac. (There's also a minor animation edit to b-air to make it a little more Melee-esque)

Have fun stabbing people to death.
7  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Character Vertexes and Textures / Re: Camelot's Stuff (Dec. 8, v1 Subspace custom stage DOWNLOAD) on: December 12, 2009, 10:15:36 PM
Thanks a lot for the positive comments, guys.

I have run into a problem that I probably will not be able to fix. There seems to be a file size limit, so if I try to put too many custom textures in, the game freezes. I'll have to compromise somehow... re-use some textures on structures, maybe.

Whoa, Falco without his headgear looks way better.

How are you doing this, anyway? Is it with BrawlBox?

Version 1 download is up, the texture isn't completely finished (see notes on the OP), but I thought I would put a download up and see what you guys think so far.

Thanks! I'm happy with the background, but chances are the blocks won't look as good. I'm a bit limited with the textures I can use, and the blocks can't animate, either.

Version 1 download of the Subspace custom stage, with the animated background, is here.

Version 1, because, it is still not finished. I have not given textures to structures, moving platforms, wheels, springs, ladders, or PokeTrainer's platform. Because of that, those objects take on the texture of whatever piece you placed down last, which is kind of weird. Also, conveyor belts just have their default texture right now.

I tried to make a wide variety of blocks. With the blocks below, you can switch between 2 textures by switching their direction.

Platforms: Subspace platform, grid platform
Blocks: Subspace block, shatter block
Fall blocks: Fall block, explosion block
Ice blocks: Ice, amber
Spikes: Ice, amber

Have fun?

Also, this music track works great here:

12  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: ..::catgowoofs Movesets::.. Commander Snake v1 -16/09- on: September 16, 2009, 07:08:36 PM
Do you play on the PAL version of the game? His sounds are really bizarre when I play as him (NSTC version).

For example... most of his attacks have the announcer say stuff. Like, he'll randomly say "Share stock" or "Congratulations!" or "New record!" or it plays the "dragoon piece get" sound.

If I use his up-taunt, he says "Player 1", if I use his side-taunt he says "Player 2", and his down-taunt makes this weird boost sound.

Up-smash and neutral-b make him say "Wow! Incredible!"

Walking/running makes bunny hood sounds, jumping makes beam sword sounds, and landing makes home-run bat sounds. Kicking either makes bunny hood sounds or "pickup item" sounds.

What the heck?

Other than the sounds, it works fine, though.

Nice new textures. Especially Team Magma, it's an awesome replacement for red team.

I was going to download Theresa/Whisper as well, but the download link is broken. Could you fix that, please?

15  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Frame speed changes! *READ* on: August 27, 2009, 10:04:07 PM
I found an event in PSA that changes frame speeds. Definitely something useful.

It's event 04070100. Set parameter 0 to "scalar", and put in the number you want to multiply the speed of the move by.

Of course, you can change the speeds of moves at any frame you want. For example, on the Roy .pac, I changed his f-smash so it starts at 0.75x speed, then changes back to 1x speed after 11 frames.
