So I ran into a bit of a problem here Dx I tried making a custom final Smash for Peach (Daisy), but when I test it out in-game, the images are in the wrong places on screen ._. If possible, could anyone fix it up for me? I'd really appreciate it. If not, can you at least provide me with an unedited FitPeachFinal.pac so I can try editing it again?
Thanks in advance, guys. Here's the download to my attempt.
Biiiiit of a problem. My sister uses Ike a lot, and my brother wants to use Cloud. I know there are a few Ike ports over certain characters, but is there one that has no SFX? It's his preference, apparently.
Encountered my first freeze issue since I started hacking Brawl again, and I'm hoping someone can provide me with a quick fix.
Anyway, I go to stage builder, set up the stage layout, then when I'm waiting to be taken to the build screen, I get that annoying buzz. It was working fine a while ago, but now, nothing ._. I wouldn't even be trying to solve this, but my bro loves creating stages.
Wasn't sure if this belonged in the feedback area or not, but it pertains to the "Add CSP" function on the site. I like the new feature, but I find it a bit bothersome on the whole uploading procedure. A lot of the time, I'll have a bunch of CSP's on my computer, but in order to upload it, I'd have to get it on Photobucket first (and in turn sort through the collection of them on PB). Is it possible that there could be an update where we could upload CSP's directly from our desktop?
It's a small gripe, but I feel like it could make the whole process faster
I'm redoing my file paths and everything, and I've got the gist of it, but can someone provide me with a template of the paths for Beyond's Riivolution loader? That's what I'll be using to load up my hacks, and I remember there being some differences in the file paths.
I've got the basic private/wii/app/RSBE/pf, but I can't remember where some of the more detailed files go. Hopefully I made my point clear. I know I still have that habit of explaining stuff badly ._.
Apologize for the question, but since it's been awhile, I forgot pretty much everything about hacking. Anyway, it's more of a technical issue. My sis recently picked up a new Wii, and she wants to get back into using hacks, because some of the Sengoku Basara hacks caught her attention (she's a huge fan -.-)
Anyway, she's worried that using them will mess up the Wii, and she basically wants me to confirm that it won't. I told her as long as there's no softmodding involved, it'll be fine, but she's still extra cautious.
Thanks for the help, and if there's anything else I should know (improvements on the hacking tools used on KC or otherwise), I'd appreciate a heads up ; )
Pretty simple question. Is there a .txt file for all the codes included with the newest release of Brawl Minus? I'd like to edit the codes that are in there. And I use Riivolution, in case that matters
I've been thinking for awhile on whether I should write a tutorial or not, and I'm deciding to give it a shot, considering I use a simpler method (at least, I think so...) Anyway, here's hoping my tutorial will actually be of some use to newer members
Tools You'll Need
- BrawlBox v0.63d (for creating and looping your BRSTM files)
- YouTube video downloader(Optional) . This will make it simpler to get an MP3 you might want that you can't find anywhere else. I would provide a link to the site I use, but that may be seen as advertising O.o
- Format Factory: This program is the one I use for converting ALL my files. It's free, simple to use, and has a lot of helpful features. The download will be posted near the end of the tutorial, so you won't have to look around for it
Now, on to the actual tutorial...
Step 1: First off, you'll obviously need a song you want to insert into Brawl. Find it through whatever method you prefer, and take note that it CAN be in any format for now. MP3, .WAV, any file extension will do.
Step 2: After finding the song you want, you'll need to use Format Factory to convert your file into a .wav file. To do this, open up Format Factory, click the Audio tab on the left side of the application, and find the "All to wav" option. Picture below:
Step 3: Once you click on that, another window should pop up with options such as "Output Setting" and "Add File". Now, this is where you can edit your file to your liking. For example, if the song you found was too low in volume, you can increase it by clicking "Output Setting", and increasing the volume control (the default will be 100%). Once the settings are okay to you, click "add file", and find your music file(s). Once they're displayed on the FF List, click OK to bring you back to the main menu. The songs you want to convert, ALONG with the convert status should all be displayed there. If everything's to your liking, then click "Start". The files will be converted and sent to your "FFOutput folder". This can be setup to wherever you want (mine, for example is Documents/FFOutput). Again, a reference pic is below.
Step 4: With your newly converted .wav files in your FFOutput folder, open up BrawlBox. Then, it's simple. Hit File > New > BRSTM Audio Stream. Find your desired .wav file, and double click to open it in BrawlBox. From here on, it's all a matter of preference. If you want your song to loop, you'll need to edit the bars so that the song contains a good loop point (it sounds complex, but after a few minutes, you should get a good idea of what to do). The yellow bar tells determines which part of the song will play after it loops, while the red bar determines WHERE to loop the song. It's a lot easier when you try it yourself, though, so don't worry :3
Step 5: After the song sounds good to you, click "Okay", which will take you back to BrawlBox's main menu. Then go to File and Save As. Make sure to save the file as a .brstm, and if you want, test it out in-game. You've created your first BRSTM!
And that basically concludes the tutorial~ If you have any other questions, please ask them here. If you feel my tutorial needs to be a bit clearer, don't hesitate to tell me ;3 This IS my first tutorial, and I doubt that I made it perfectly understandable. Also, below is the download link to Format Factory for those that want to use it.

I don't have an opportunity to test it out now, so that's really the only reason I'm asking this, but do I need to do anything special to get that recent Nintendog over Bowser hack working? Or does it all just go in the koopa folder?
For some reason, I remember Bowser having a different Motionetc or something like that, and I want to make sure. Thanks in advance
Yeah, I still haven't really learned how to edit these things yet ._.
Anyway, I'd like to have the custom victory theme code in my .gct, but I'd need to set up the file path first since I use Riivo. If someone could set it up for me, I'd totally appreciate it
=.=; Okay, so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but for some reason, whenever I attempt to make a .pac file for characters that NEED it, the game ends up freezing anyway.
Aren't I just supposed to open the texture's .pcs file in BrawlBox and then save it as a .pac? Because I've been doing exactly that, and it doesn't work :/
Okay =.=; I want to switch Lylat Cruise with another stage, but I can't find the name I have to use in order to actually swap it.
One source I found labels it as STGSTARFOX_ASTEROID, while another just labels it as STGSTARFOX. Which is it? Sorry for the nooby question, by the way...
Okay, so seeing as how my thread was more well-liked than I thought, I'm deciding to put all my CSP's back up for now. I'll be taking suggestions for new CSP's and Stage-related things, but for now, I won't be taking any requests. I'll update the OP when I start.
Everytime I use Riivo, I get multiple disc read errors before I can actually play the game. The disc definitely works, because the disc channel reads it right away. But with Riivo, it usually takes around 8-9 attempts to get it working. I googled around and saw that a few other people had this issue too, but there were no solid answers :/ This gets really annoying and time-consuming, too...
If fixing it involves downgrading my Wii, by the way, I'd really not want to take that chance.
I apologize in advance for posting this HERE, But I've tried asking around, and I haven't gotten any solid help yet.
Anyway, I'm having issues with my Gamecube memory cards. Basically, sometimes I put them into my GC, and it tells me the card either needs to be formatted or it can't be used at all. But I could remove it and place it right back in, and it'll work fine. I prefer to use my GC because it's a lot more quiet than the Wii, btw.
So my question is - is this a serious problem? Or is my GC just so old that it's making mistakes or something? I'd really like to find out...
