Oh yeah I made a little add-on to brawlbox that automatically fixes animations from other games. And with the importer, you could take each seperate model and piece them together in 3ds max, fix the rig on the parts you put together and then re-import it as one model O.o

Also yeah I'm counting on using the importer for that, I mean a lot of people already put the models together and re-rigged them for like gmod uses, sooo I would help myself Awesome Face

Also I totally want to get the Gamecube from Mario Kart DD as a stage, since I already hve the model and everything Cheesy

well, it'd be a matter of extracting the .brres from the .one files, and from there it should go smoothly.

I can't do memory dumps though, my comp sucks so dolphin doesn't work :x

yeah, I looked at he files in HxD as well, and they contain filepaths. It's mad confusing, you can see sega p.much rushed the game...

Okay, so I tried my hand at getting 3D models from NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams...



Let me explain:
The models for the characters are in .brmdl format, which is pretty much .mdl0.
However, when I rename them to .brres and hex them, they lose their texture indexes, which means they stay textureless forever. Besides, the textures themselves are in .brtex format, which means I also have to rename those to .brres and hex [censored].

So still, characters could go nicely.
However, the stages(and that's what I wanted) are in .one files. wuttt?
.one files are actually multiple .brmdls packed together.
And a stage has multiple .one files.

So if I wanted, say, Bellbridge, I'd need to extract around 2 models per .one file. Knowing there are like 15 .one files for one level of the stage, since the game apparently breaks the stage by levels...

madness.

Actually, maybe I'm misguided and someone will waltz in saying OMG U WRONG but well, on my own idk how to deal with this.
Besides, the only stage I would really want to do from NiGHTS would be a moving Nightmaren as a platform and flying around Bellbridge...

I've already added support for version 11 models O_o and it's really easy to do too
I have a model from Haruhi No Gekidou opened in the picture

Man I wish the character models weren't broken up into like 5 parts in this game, it makes putting them in a stage nearly impossible Im srs here
Could you add support for any type of chr0s, too? Gekidou has some animation files that would be useful to use, but they kinda don't work well >.>

As awesome as this looks, it totally doesn't look the same without Orochi in the background. I guess that hole in the middle could serve for spiking, through. Awesome Face
