But there is a question to ask, how much of this is Mewtwo's fault, and how much is Lucario's animation's fault?
Seems to me like most of the problems this Mewtwo has are Lucario's animation's fault. Mewtwo's body just wasn't supposed to move like that.
Definitely looking forward to it, once you release it, Lucario can say goodbye.
Though I still wish someone would make a custom rig to better support his model and then make animations from scratch without being restricted by Lucario's bones .. Oh well, a man can dream xD
i was just asking why he had to pull aurion out, when they have nothing to do with each other... and when saying u prefer one over another, ur comparing
If you didn't have much to do with Sony's systems (GoW is Sony exclsuive *hint hint*) the chance that you haven't had much to do with Kratos either is quite high. At the same time people who didn't own a PS2 probably owned a GC and therefore probably know who Kratos Aurion is.
On the other hand, people who didn't own a GC but a PS2 probably know who Kratos (GoW) is but don't know Kratos Aurion.
So if someone says 'Kratos' one side will instantly think of Kratos (GoW) and the other of Kratos Aurion. People compare them because they share names, it's simple as that.
And Beyond, just do whatever the hell you want. As long as you keep the swag coming
Sorry, I don't really remember what it looked like, been ages since I played ToS2 and Emil just so happens to be my least favorite Tales of character ever.
You have the chracter model but not the sword models? I have ripped most character related stuff from the disc, I'll check if I have his regular sword when I get home.
Not to sound like an ass but why use the old Mewtwo PSA as a base?
It has gone through way too many hands and feels unpolished as hell (this is coming from someone who has worked on it at one point). Not to mention that the animations look horrible.
I'd much rather see you start fresh than recycle a project that never lived up to its expectations. You'll have to redo most of the old animations anyway. Speaking of that, maybe you could get an imported model with a custom rig better suited for his model? I remember there being some serious animation issues with his tail on Lucario's rig who simply doesn't have enough tail bones.
That's just my opinion but you have a chance to do something great here, something many people wanted ever since brawl hacking came to be. Don't waste it D:
As for the yellow eyes that is really easy, I know I did it for the Down B I designed for one of the early versions (back when we didn't even have a vertex). If memory serves right it's just a single line of code.
I'd do what Waffle, SJ, and Beyond did and head on over to LST. It's nice and error 500 free
Yes, this is such a great idead!
Let's have all vertex hackers move there while we're at it!
/sarcasm
As I've already stated in the on-topic thread if moving to LST becomes a trend you will eventually get a good fraction of the usual lurking guests over there. At that point it won't be long before they get shut down by proboards for traffic overload like they did with KC:MM 2 years ago (back when the traffic compared to today's traffic was an absolute joke). Oh and here comes the good part! It won't even help KC:MM, we still have BV meaning to download the hacks from LST the lurkers will still come here.
Face the facts, freehosts aren't made for big communities like this one.
Edit: also I completly agree with black boo on the whole family thread. Why not just make a new threac, lock it, and add an embeded IRC chat in the main post. It will still feel like you are on KC:MM, just without all the f5's
They are hosted on Proboards. We were hosted by these guys 2 years ago, when our traffic was about a tenth of our current traffic. And they kicked us for taking too much bandwidth. That is obviously much worse than 500 errors.
This, so many times this. Most people haven't been around long enough to realize this and instead [censored] about how crappy our server is. In fact I saw people spouting nonsense like "This never happened on a proboards forum for me."
Back then the entire bloody forum went down because we were taking up too much bandwith for proboards. The situation now might blow but it's still way better than what we had before.
As for people moving to LST, well for a while I thought splitting the traffic might help in the long run. But in reality, all hacks still get uploaded to BV which means our traffic won't change all that much. Though as Miacis stated, if moving to LST becomes a trend then that forum will soon share the same fate KC:MM did 2 years ago.
The thing about donations is, that it's a bit risky. I can see that we probably wouldn't have trouble getting the requied money now that the topic is hot but what will be in a few months after the hostchange? People will start to forget about the Error 500 ordeal and their eagerness to donate will dimnish. Next we know we can't meet the monthly fee and poof goes the forum.
