personally i've never had the geckos version work for me without crashing, so i use riivolution.
I replaced the dummy and border files... they take up 3GB of space on the disc... (1 whole dummy file is about 1.2 GB in nothing but '00' I just created text files, and renamed them to: Dummy1.dat Dummy2.dat border.dat
and used HxD to shorten the files to 1 byte '00' after that, I just placed the files right in the pf folder...
I havn't done anything outragous to test it yet... so even though I did this, I still don't know if this works...
would anyone be willing to test this??
what are you talking about? we are talking about sd replacement, not iso hacking. if you replaced the brsar on your iso, of course gecko will work with it, because you aren't replacing the brsar, it's already embedded in the iso.
you should have gotten a reply back. it's an automated vacation message, unless you emailed the wrong address, then make sure you use the one i tell you to email
I saw this awesome sound effect hack and I was wondering how I get the hack onto brawl, do I need the ISO
depends on what you downloaded. if you downloaded a brsar, just put that in your /pf/sound folder. if you downloaded a hex packet, you will need to manually hex it into a brsar you already have then place the brsar into that same folder.

Ok. i just uploaded a song yesterday, and one of the administrators or if there is a main administrator STILL hasn't approved/pended it yet. Why? I dont like after 1 day it still hasnt been done pending. So someone better finish pending SOON
dude, be patient. we have lives too, you know. we don't just patrol this site 24/7 just to approve hacks the instant you upload it. you can ask a little more politely next time...
Thanks everyone. I'm working hard to get all these done. I'm surprised you haven't said anything about the first thing I have posted (btw there's a secret message hidden in the post)
And @Calamitas, I didn't really plan on it (lol never heard of it until you said it) but that's not to say we can't make our own legendary pokemon... (through all the mutations pokemon have come through, I would not be surprised if something looks similar to my edit in 2 or three more pokemon generations )
Can you make a tutorial on selecting/editing vertexes in blender? I've been fiddling with blender for a while and I can't seem to find any at least not on the actual selecting/editing part of it. Almost all of them only show you how to get the stupid vertex thing compatable with blender *sideglance*
well for quick reference, make sure you right click the model, go into edit mode, press the A key to select all, press again to deselect all. right click one vertex to select it. ctrl + right click adds more vertices to the selection. presss the G key to move them.
but that would be for the editing tutorial, not the texture testing tutorial.
I guess a blender for brawlers tutorial is in order...
when you say smash stack, i assume you are using the ssbb stage loader exploits? for those who don't know what that is, some coders programmed a custom stage builder stage to crash the game, (causing a smash stack) and then it loads the boot.elf that is in the root of your sd card. right now you can't re-install homewbrew, but gecko os DOES work with this. I can confirm that
i think you are asking the wrong question... Polygons change depending on where the vertices are placed, which we can move around. So we are already there, unless that was not what you were trying to ask
