so basically im want to put this texture over DK's face

but everytime i do it looks like this


I dont know whats wrong I made sure everything was format,size, everything. Is it the colors?
Its really starting to bother me. Can some1 figure out WTF is wrong with my texture?

    Try to edit a working texture hack of donkey and aply your textures on that, see if that works

    Did the texture part's palette get corrupted?  Because CI8 textures rely on palettes, they can get messed up if the wrong palette is used.

    Try reimporting the texture part onto DK's face to see if that helps.  And make sure that the palette format for the head is RGB5A3.

    All of DK's texture parts have a MIP level of 1.
