I stopped playing brawl for a while and before the textures and what not would work completely fine but, now that I go and it, it freezes at the stage selection screen. This is after I updated (I screwed and updated but, I fixed it so it wasn't an issue). <~< I've even taken all the textures off and it still does it (Gecko OS and the SD Card Of course). ==;
I've looked around before this but I haven't gotten enough information to fix it myself. Someone said it has something to do ISO 36.

    I don't use Riivolution..
    Every time I see a forum with exactly what I'm talking about there are no replies about what's going on or anything. I'm seeing more and more people with this same issue. You guys  might be working on but, give us some kind of announcement or something that you are working on it. It sucks that I can't even play brawl like I want to. I even have to start my game over. I deleted my save file so I highly doubt its corruption. (I'd rather not have someones else save data).

    freezing at the SSS is most comonnly associated with bad stage or SSS files what have u added recently before the freezing

    This BS freezing started happening after I used that crappy Brawl + updatifier on the HBC.

    That program has been known to cause major issues with Brawl, corrupting files and causing sound issues. You are going to need to defrag your SD card and Format it (completly). If you are going to use Brawl+, download it from a Computer, not from the Homebrew Program

    LOL. Defrag stopped  it from doing that. Thank you ^^;
    Well I guess I didn't have to delete my data. Oh Well It will be fun re-beating my game ;3
